The bedroom was excellent the on suite a little small. We enjoyed our stay.

I stayed here twice recently for work - 10 nights in total. The communication via text was very prompt. Parking was easy. The shop opposite is not open and there is no shop in walking distance. The accommodation is pleasant but simple. The beds i stayed in both were uncomfortable and needed new mattresses - i had to sleep top to toe in one as it was so uncomfortable. The bathroom in the first room was very damp - see photos of mould and smelt. The first room need a good clean with thick dust on some surfaces. The 2nd room, upon checking in the bathroom was unclean with urine on loo and pubes. The shower flooded the room each time i used it - i did report this but it wasn't sorted. I certainly wouldn't rush back. Yes, it us cheap but all accommodation should be clean.

The other reviews are correct - the bathrooms do smell mouldy, the walls are paper thin and the beds aren't comfy. Not ideal. Parking good but did get blocked in one evening but owners sorted quickly. The shop opposite is closed and no other shops in walking distance. There is a vending machine in the reception area.

Set in a very lovely village not far from the main city. Neat and tidy room. Would liked to have had a member of staff on the property

Accommodation was clean, tidy but a little on the small side ( Hitting leg walking around bed ) TV remote was touch and go with parking difficult with front of building full of vehicles when the notes says only vans to park out front but it was full of cars making it hard to navigate the tight gap to park in rear car park

Perfect for my stay. Lovely clean room, clear instructions from the host. Free parking. Excellent communication from the host 10/10

Warm, cosy, quite, clean property.

Codes received 2 hours before check in time. Chinese next door was delicious. Parking was quite tight to get to at the back of the property. Would stay again...

Safe and clean

Really liked the Dakota. Felt safe as a single traveller. Room was very clean and although small (single), was perfectly adequate with tea and coffee making facilities. Accommodation is self check in so I didn't see any staff during my stay, but communication was good pre arrival. Shower wasn't warm enough to shower under unfortunately, but I would still book again as it was good value. There is a Chinese takeaway next door (cash only) and the Dakota provided plates and cutlery in reception which was a nice touch. The supermarket opposite is permenently closed.

Spotlessly clean and welcoming, with keybox entry late into the evening and tea- and coffee-making facilities in the room.

All ok. Suited our needs. Nice, comfortable and quiet.

I used the Dakota for an overnight stop, good rest up. Visited Coventry city centre, very convenient. The Cathedral is well worth a look.

Always use the Dakota when catching up with family for the weekend. never had any problems with self checkin or communication. we stayed in the opposite wing for the first time on this occassion (room 5)which had a lot softer mattress than we were used to & WIFI could not reach us. did us well for our short stay and well priced. thank you

Okay for a couple of nights. Convenient location, quiet & warm with off-street parking. Could have a bit more attention to cleaning and also some blackout curtains to shut out exterior lighting. But, overall, decent enough for the price.
