Beautiful hotel, lovely staff, quiet and peaceful

Room spotless but sink was cracked.Breakfast very good

Hotel itself was lovely in the communal areas, reception, breakfast room etc and staff were all lovely, however, the room was very dated. There was mould in the bathroom and on the shower curtain. The shower would switch from roasting to luke warm throughout showering.

Shower wasn't functional, I had to hold it to wash, it would not stay on the slide bar on the way. Bad experience!

A little run down, old carpets one of the lifts were broken and our room had a problem with the lightswitch

Very good reception staff. Round are lovely - clean and comfortable. Great location for a do at Oran Mor. Can’t fault it.

Courteous, welcoming staff, however, our room looked directly into a neighbouring roof, with workmen working until 5.30pm and then again in the morning, meaning we couldn’t nap/were woken up. We also had to keep the curtains closed during the day as they could see directly in.

Clean spacious room. Staff were great at check in and breakfast.

Room felt very dated. Main room light didnt work. Drafty from windows. Woken up by sound of the service lift

Comfortable,clean room,nice view of park,unfortunately there was a annoying noise which kept me awake,phoned reception who sent someone to try and identify where the noise was coming from and relocated to another room on a different floor at the opposite side of the building,however,the dripping noise was still there.Must have been air in the hot water system or something similar.

Unfortunately there was no hot water when we arrived which is not good. The staff were amazing. Hotel does look dated now. In need of refurb. Beds were so comfortable.

only saving grace was breakfast it was lovley , tired looking hotel, not the best cleanliness lifts not working .

Room could do with an upgrade. Didn’t like the small bath with shower attachment. Breakfast was very disappointing, in fact we had to stop at services for food on the way back. Parking was a nightmare eventually had to park on a side street as the hotel car park is shared with Waitrose reserved spaces and residents who live around the hotel. Front of desk was very poor, communication skills were not the best, night time front of house was fantastic, friendly, happy to help. Overall for the price wasn’t value for money.

The hotel location is good for Byers Road and all it has to offer. The hotel staff were lovely and the room was ok, albeit dated.

In general room was ok a light in bathroom was out and the expelair didn’t seem to be working. The tv connection was needing to be repaired. One of the lifts was not working. All the staff were helpful and very courteous
