Friendly staff. Great room and lovely bar with a great view. Could have included the swimming pool use steam and sauna without the extra charge though

Perfect location, walkable but in a quiet area

Stayed here for 4 days. Very quite low key place. Decent gym, decent breakfast, very clean and high end. The staff was very friendly and pleasant. They even let me do a late check out and let me keep my bags at the hotel until my flight left almost 8 hours. Great location towards the river and good restaurants to eat. 5 stars ***** Rey From Jersey

The most gorgeous hotel. High high class. Our room was located through a hidden doorway elevator which was weird and hard to locate. Besides that it was an amazing room!

Excellent service. Location was close to everything. The rooms were clean and beds were a bit hard. But overall great stay. One thing was the air conditioning in the rooms. Felt warm even after adjusting the system.

We loved our brief stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and full of nice surprises. The check-in staff were friendly and very helpful with recommendations for restaurants that were off the beaten path. The only issue we faced was finding that our rental car had been damaged by the valet. Make sure you photgraph your car before and after you have it parked by a valet. This resulted in 100s of dollars in damage at the car rental return in Lisbon...

Perfect location, clean and modern.

Overall a wonderful hotel. Amazing stay, with a wonderful gym, stunning spa and friendly staff. My only couple of points of feedback I had an intern check me in so didn’t get the full info on the hotel like the wonderful rooftop restaurant which I only discovered on my last night and there was so much confusion about my booking. All in all a great location for me as I was away for the hustle and bustle.

Everything there made it everything enjoyable

Staff was friendly, but under trained. Spa and breakfast were not included. 2 drinks at the bar cost €75. They initially gave us keys to an occupied room. Then gave us keys to a room with a broken patio door, and the third room had parts on toilet door falling off and the towel hooks hanging by a thread. But the bed and pillows were comfortable, and the location is very good.

Very easy access to the river where restaurants and shops are located.

Convenient place to stay in Porto

Great location for walking around Porto, our room was outstanding we had been upgraded to a duplex which was very spacious and comfortable. Only downside for this hotel is that there is an extra cost to use the pool and spa.

Super modernist hotel, so modern it's hard to see because the interior is so dark. But big rooms and bathrooms. A good value.

The Hilton Porto Gaia is an excellent hotel located in an area within easy walking distance to many restaurants and shops. The area is beautiful and located across the Douro from the Ribeira District of Porto. Walking over the bridge to Porto only takes a few minutes from the hotel. There are a myriad of local activities surrounding the hotel especially if you like wine as there are many Port wine houses that have tours and tastings. The cable cars take you to the top a park high above with great vistas and where you can walk the upper level of the bridge. As to the Hilton Porto Gaia it is a modern hotel that is private and quiet and has nice sized rooms with modern decor. The bathrooms are impressive especially the shower. The hotel also has dining and a bar on top floor Cusco with a great view of Porto across the river and excellent coctails with lots of choices. The staff are wondeful and speak perfect English for anyone that doesn’t speak Portuguese. Overall this is one of if not the best hotel I’ve stayed in during all my travels and we will be staying here again in the future when we come back.

Very nice hotel - located close to the water and hidden amongst the Port Houses in Gaia. Beautiful hotel. Rooms were large and comfortable. We would stay here again for sure.

Loved everything about the Hilton Porto Gaia! The spa is amazing, breakfast was excellent, staff and customer service 5 stars! Rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable. Will definitely be back!
