Hotel was lovely. And the surprise regarding ballons banner and cake for my partners birthday was outstanding. And very thoughtful. A nice touch.

Reception was polite and helpful but room wasn’t Good for the money paid £160 for the night with the parking and the room was fusty smell. Neither windows opened and closed with ease, carpets was extremely dirty and very stained, we didn’t take shoes off until we went to bed. Carpet was also baggy in places, caused our toddler to trip a couple of times, towels was already wet in the bathroom with cracked tiles, which was concerning. Bed was comfy and very spacious

I liked this property and would stay again however I feel staff need to be firmer with a small minority of people that were disrupting everyone else. They almost seemed frightened to say anything to them, which was frustrating and in all honesty it ruined our stay which otherwise would have been perfect. Allowing children to run up and down hallway of the rooms screaming and throwing things is not acceptable. We went to swim in the pool this morning and even the staff manning the pool couldn’t cope with them. They disturbed everyone else, standing in the swimming lanes with children in floats so no adults could swim, kids jumping off the hot tub into the pool, throwing the shower heads onto the floor, they weren’t listening to staff at all. They should have been made to leave. Other than this we would have had a lovely time and hopefully next time we come back we won’t have the same experience.

Good value for money but our room was a bit tired

We had a great stay and the room was lovely and large, with a small fridge that was handy and plenty of space for the travel cot they offered for my toddler. We loved the pool each morning too!

Friendly staff, nice food , good gym /pool

It's an old Hilton hotel, a little shabby at the edges but comfortable with a gym, pool, a spacious room with kettle and fridge and all the extras included. The late check out of 12 meant we could relax, swim have breakfast rather than rushing around to get ready to leave. Price was good too for a family of 4. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great price and convenient for our needs. The room was spacious and provided everything we needed. Would consider staying for longer next time. Pity there wasn’t a lift. Being elderly it would’ve been nice to have been offered a ground floor room.

The beds were extremely comfortable in the room but unfortunately the constant banging doors hindered what could have been a very good nights sleep, this didn't help with the room being so close to the spa. The noise was constant from about 7am. This hotel needs to invest in soundproofing or strong soft door dampers/hinges to help the doors close slower!!

It was for a very sad anniversary, I emailed the hotel requesting assistance in sorting out something special or an upgrade but I got a generated response. I chased up but nothing. We were definitely just in one of their rooms unlike when it was the Hilton, they used to make sure that we were so looked after. The hotel has some amazing memories for us but sadly I think this will be the last time we use the hotel for this anniversary. Having a child lose their daddy is one thing but when you go back year after year and notice the decline in service and care… that’s a big shame.

Good stay for 2 nights. We enjoyed the swimming pool and the sauna. The food was good. Staff was very helpful. Totally recommend the place and the area.

Very nice and clean room good service easy access reception staff and very welcoming and helpful i would highly recommend to family and friends and will be booking again
