Lovely place very clean great music in the bar well looked after.

It was very convenient to shopping and restaurants

Definitely the place to stay if you're looking to do a pub crawl or night out, as it's above a pub. I have no complaints and would definitely stay there again.

It was a lovely room and nice and quiet as no music on in pub below. Really good for the price we paid. Twin room had two super king beds. Only downside was water wasn’t warm enough for a shower in the morning. Apart from that it was all good.

Le check in se fait dans un bar. Ce n'est pas un hôtel. Les chambres sont au dessus du bar avec de la musique à haut volume et la nuit du samedi 23 mai 2026 il m'a été impossible de me reposer avant 2h45 du matin car de la musique était encore diffusée alors que le bar ferme à 00h30. C'est dommage car la chambre est plutôt correcte. Je ne recommande pas cet endroit à moins que vous vouliez passer une nuit agitée. Si j'avais pu mettre 0 étoile je l'aurais fait mais hôtels.com ne le permet pas.

The room is very good/excellent. Very clean. 2 huge comfort beds. Decent shower although the head was attached to a very short fixed?? Could have done with a smaller shower head or a longer fixed arm to get the drench effect from the large head. Parking is on street but no problem at all. Plenty of places to eat within 2 minutes walk. A little bit of noise from people down in the bar at turning out time but not bad and after midnight not a sound! Overall pretty good value and comfortable.

Very clean room, modern, comfy beds and lovely fluffy towels. Only downside is the noise outside which really has nothing to do with the rooms, but apart from that it was lovely. Added bonus to be able to use the ballyliffin leisure facilities. Great wee find

Large spacious room

Stayed here with work. With the expectation of a bed and a hot shower. After travelling a few hours i arrived around 7pm . Went to have a shower no hot water. Went out to get some food and returned around 9 and again checked the water. Still no hot water. When i went to the bar to query there was some support offered, boiler checked but still no hot water and the offer of a complimentary pint was offered but this was not welcome as i was there on buisiness and just required a hot shower and especially for the following morning before work. The following morning the shower was freezing cold. I had to suffer it and then go to work. I attempted to call later on around 5pm, there was no answer. I phoned the following day and spoke to one of the staff at Joyces and was told the owner would phone back which at this point over a week later i am still waiting. I also wrote to Joyces via hotels.com but didnt recieve a response. I would no recommend this accommodation as the basics of a hot shower were not met and furthermore they did not even have the courtsey to phone back to speak about this

We had a wonderful stay! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and the location was perfect. Check-in was easy and communication was smooth. We would happily stay here again.

The room was spacious, 2 king size beds which were very comfy. We have an adult son with special needs and isn't independent, the room was exactly what we needed. Each day we returned to find our beds made up and clean towels. Very clean and the staff very friendly. Just be aware there is no food available at this property but there are tea and coffee available in the room.

Situated conveniently in the center of town. Restaurant a couple doors down which served dinner until 8, which was good due to our later arrival. Diamond Cafe across the Diamond was great for breakfast. Opens at 8:30 am. Check-in was easy; just got the keys at the bar and the hostess showed us the room. Street parking was easy and free. We based here to explore the northernmost part of Donegal.

The room was spacious and very comfortable. It was right above the bar and charming street.That was fine until in the wee hours and people gathered outside to socialize before going home - in a way it added to the atmosphere but if sleeping is your main goal bring earplugs.

Everything at the hotel was fine. Nothing extra special, but clean and comfortable. Centrally located.

To check in we had to make our way through 50 drunk 18 year olds to the bar. Then drag our suitcases up the stairs to reach a small room. When I originally booked through Expedia the property's name was Joyce's Bed and Breakfast, but they serve no food whatsoever. The noisy guests downstairs could be heard from our room and I was afraid of leaving our rental car on the street with all of the drunk people wandering around.

A bit noisy in the evenings, because boy racers go around in the middle of the town and we could hear all, other then that very good for the price.
