Pleasant stay for work. Very friendly staff and good drinks at the bar. I had forgotten my plug to charge my phone and the staff lent me one for the length of my stay. Rooms were clean but require a little sprucing up with a coat of paint. Food was good and all made fresh and a decent selection for breakfast.

The bar is excellent Happy hour 4 to 6 and the food is very good and a free breakfast all round excellent

Great place, lovely setting. Room was good size, nice big TV. Bar and restaurant areas well decorated and evening meal and breakfast were excellent.

Food and staff excellent. The room needed some repairs. Constructive criticism: 2 bedside lamps would have been preferable and a non-slip shower mat was needed.

Spotlessly clean, comfortable but 'no frills' accommodation. Suggest bring own showrr gel and bottled water. Indian cuisine in Elephant and Peacock superb.

Bar really nice, food great, rooms large but need a little spruce up, but will defo come back.

There is a large car park but it can get busy at peak times. Register your car at the bar. Our fourth visit in the last year. We like it. Staff, food, atmosphere and location. There are a few maintenance issues that could be addressed, e.g. dripping taps, shower door off runners and touch up of decor in places. We expect to return.

Excellent place to stay. Lovely big room, really comfy bed, quiet. Food in the bar / Indian restaurant is absolutely superb! Can’t fault the place at all, fully deserved 10/10.

Great welcome, staff very helpful and friendly, super decor scheme, very tasty in rooms and in the Indian restaurant below and what a bonus that was! Terrific high quality cooking, Indian food at its very best! Locals in the bar were very friendly, it really is a great place to stop. Bed was a bit spingy and soft but otherwise full marks, we will return for sure!

The room was large and clean. The WIFI was good and the Indian Food was very nice too. As was Breakfast. Sadly it was let down a little by service. I had to chase for some simple things and at times felt like I had been forgotten. Parking was free with a large amount of car parking available. I would give this place another go because you can catch people on an off day, and the place itself is lovely.

The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. The room was unique, a decent size and clean, although the ‘struts’ going through the room and bathroom could be a hazard for taller people. The bathroom floor tiles were missing grout, but the shower was hot
