We loved it! I’ll start with the basics. Super clean room and property. Room (#5) was a good size and bed was comfortable. Decorated so nicely. Bathroom was modern and lovely. Great bedding and towels. Free parking. What I didn’t expect was the room was filled with lovely amenities!. From the luxurious Canadian soaps and shampoos, to the fridge filled with sparkling water and cream, to the abundance of coffee pods (tea also), decent coffee cups and beautiful glasses. My husband kept going on about how nice it was to have enough coffee to each enjoy several cups each. From our window we had a lovely view of the water. The front porch has great Adirondack chairs and because it was a glorious evening I enjoyed an after dinner coffee and the husband had a beer. We watched the sun go down. It was wonderful. The hosts sent us a message with dinner and breakfast recommendations and we did both and they didn’t disappoint. Anyway, we’d come back for sure. Terrific little inn.

Lovely room, clean and quiet. Didn't meet any staff as it was self check in.

This property is like sleeping like a museum - full of character and brings you back in time. Bed was comfortable. Room was spacious and every inch of space is thought out. Right by the main street, so conveniently located. Parking is ample. They even provided complimentary snacks (chocolate and sparkling soda) which was greatly appreciated. Would absolutely stay here again.

There were flies inside the room

Easy check in, clean, good bed and linens. Has character, and well appointed. But how abut chips or nuts for snacks rather than Mars bars or M and M's.

Many in-room conveniences, like water kettle and mini fridge, plus free snacks and bubbly water. Also free laundry and hot tubs. Views from the front main house rooms. Bed was a touch too firm, but everything else was great.

This was a great experience in a restored home. Bright and cozy and slept very well with ocean air

Owners thought of EVERYTHING! We loved all of the little touches they added to the room, and property - it really enhanced our stay!

This was a self check in hotel.

Great location to the National park, view of water out our window, comfortable and clean room. We visited with two different housekeepers who were so friendly and knowledgeable. The only downside was the breakfast area, which was a grab and go—-yogurt and granola bars ( maybe something else) coffee and tea. There was a toaster but no bread.

Lovely and well furnished property. Lots of thoughtful touches. Easy self-check in. Loved the hot tubs!

Comfortable, great wifi well located.

The room was very nice, with plenty of coffee and snacks. The price is high though, we paid close to what we paid for the Keltic Lodge.

This was a really nice property. They had a lot of extra things like treats in the room and a shared kitchen we weren’t expecting. Rooms were really nice. We were able to walk to several restaurants.

The Archie & Isidore has a lovely self-check-in system -- they text you to let you know when the room is ready and you find the key in your room. The hotel is right on the Cabot Trail and you can easily walk around town. Several restaurants are within an easy 5-to-10 minute drive, and casual dress is always appropriate. The Adirondack chairs on the front porch are a lovely spot to sit, sip a drink, and people-watch. Although we didn't use it, there's also a hot tub available. We thoroughly enjoyed the comfy bed, the quiet, and the fresh air. If you have time, be sure to stop by The Trois Pignons museum just up the road and learn about the hooked rug tradition of the Acadian area.

The room and surroundings capture a peacefulness. It’s a unique place to stay with a cozy room and lots of extras and upgrades that made you feel special. Worth the price to experience.

Breathtaking view, clean and well cared facility and the hot tub a plesant suprise! Highly recommended and will definitely come back!

This accommodation included every little detail that made it extra special. The host anticipates guest needs very well. We especially enjoyed access to the hot tubs, a great amount of towels and robes, the in-room coffee and snacks, the amenities in the main house, quality bath products. Our only feedback would be that a 10 AM check out is a little bit early compared to other properties, as is a 4 PM check in (however, the property manager allowed us an early check-in, so we were very happy with that after long travels.) We hope to stay again in the future, it was so so great!

Air con is very noisy, but road gets noisy early morning if you have windows open instead - the property supplies ear plugs which is a good effort
