Wonderfully located in a natural setting and in short driving distance to several National Trust properties and only 30 to 45 minutes to Brighton. This is a great location if you want to combine a trip to the coast with spending time in the nature. Rooms are simple, but comfortable and the breakfast tasty and plentiful. There is a small indoor pool, including a steam room and sauna. I would definitely stay here again but hopefully the next time get a room where the television isn’t broken.

Very friendly staff, clean room, great breakfast. A nice place to visit in a tranquil atmosphere. We arrived late at Gatwick, and this place was perfect for a night stay before heading to Cornwall, or where you might have to go.

Nice hotel, only stayed one night on a work trip. Food was nice and god value. Room was a decent size and clean. Staff were helpful and pleasant the receptionist I dealt with was very helpful as were the bar/restaurant staff. Breakfast was decent too. If you want to go for a run/walk there is St Leonards Wood just 500m up the road which has miles of trails to navigate. Ample parking which was free whilst staying.

This hotel is excellent accommodation, especially for those with limited mobility. The Accessible Room has brilliant facilities. The staff are welcoming, kind and very helpful in offering assistance whenever they can. Great access, no steps or ramps. Ground-floor room. Breakfast 5*

Overall stay was okay, venue in itself was clean and well maintained. However there was no restaurant open due to a conference being held, only the bar was open with a limited menu. Food took over an hour to arrive and staff had to be reminded several times. On arrival food was cold and at that point not enjoyable for the overly expensive price.

We stayed for two nights, to see our daughter off at Gatwick and visit, Wings. A Delightful Stay, a couple of things and it's perfect Check in was quick and efficient, with lots of information on where things were as the complex is big. Spacious room, kettle etc. Jazzy led mirror and desk light but no office style chair? In fact only one chair in the room. Reception lent me a chair from room 45, but it disappeared after the room was cleaned. No aircon but an old style ceiling large fan, no light, which once we found the switch next to the headboard, turned effectually moving warm air slowly, with little cooling effect. The double bed, is really a large single, why not a,queen or better a king. Any older married couple, I suggest get a twin bedded room. Not the fault of the hotel in this extraordinary hot weather, but the bathroom doubled as a sauna it was,so hot. Please check the air filter in room 49. Bath shower, nice bathroom, great towels but no flannels. Buffet breakfast was better than the holiday.inn and others, cereals fruit, croissants etc and hot buffet, scrambled egg. Sausage, bacon mushrooms and much much more. Coffee machine style, toast etc The staff were professional and charming, chatty and friendly. Bar food was good as was,the beer. Don't forget to visit Wings nearby, lunch try the Red Lion 5 miles away. I did not swim, but my wife reported she felt unsafe getting into and out of the pool, as it has a short hand rail. I would come again

Me and my friend stayed here for the weekend, due to it having a private function we couldn't eat dinner in the dinner hall for one night but there was hot food available at the bar area which was lovely. The breakfast had an extensive range that was only let down by the dust on the window sills and the uncleaned salt & pepper trays on the tables. We hired the bikes at no extra cost and did a really nice tour of the grounds and surrounding forest. All staff go out of their way to be friendly and helpful (even when they only popped in on their day off but we needed a bike pump!) The rooms are well equiped and comfy, nice pool and spa facilities all working. The only down side is there is no where to get a bottle of water to take out as the water dispensers are all cups and the bar doesn't open until 6pm so on a hot day when you fancy a chilled coke this is not an option, they have many coffee and water machines but thats all. That said, we will definitely be up for a return visit.

We had a great stay. However, didn’t get the chance to sample the Gym and sauna. Staff were very helpful, especially whilst having breakfast they couldn’t do enough for us. I would recommend stay, nice facilities and nice quiet location.

What a superb place to stay! Husband had studied here in the early 2000’s so was very happy reminiscing. Beautiful grounds. Great staff and food. Fabulous stay 😁

It was like a retreat- beautiful setting in 45 acres -lots of open space. When I opened my door the room smelt fresh and clean. Good sized pool + sauna and steam room - not on all day so check the times. Really friendly, helpful staff

The hotel lays in a quiet place, need to drive probably. We walk to a restaurant near by but was 15 minutes not through the safest widest road. But other than that a very good quality price ratio, gym, indoor pool was very clean and good breakfast.

Beautiful location and grounds Building was large and modern Staff friendly and helpful Room was good with robe and slippers and nice views Bed was too firm for us We ate dinner in the hotel bar. Unfortunately my fish did not smell or taste fresh and I was unable to eat it. The hotel staff took on board my feedback and did not charge me for this. The breakfast was very good Overall a good stay. We would return but eat out evening meal elsewhere.

Overall it was fantastic, the breakfast was good and the staff were helpful. It was super relaxed, the sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and pool were lovely and we had it to ourselves both times we used it. The grounds are outstanding and on the edge of the forest, do go and explore. There's tea/coffee, snacks and areas to relax.The only fault I had is that I found the bed uncomfortable so I didn't sleep well, but I would still come back.
