Sengen var komfortabelt. Ligger ikke sentralt, langt å gå til alle steder. Det er en omvei å gå til stranden, tok mer enn 10 min å gå. Det er ikke hotel, mer som en Airbnb. Det er en leilighet som har prøvd å gjøre om til hotell.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by the owner, Duncan, who immediately demanded that I pay an additional amount beyond what I had already paid through Expedia on January 17th. When I refused, he became agitated and annoyed. After advising Expedia of the situation, they managed to cancel my booking. However, as I attempted to leave the premises, three security guards held me back and insisted that I needed to pay for the room before I could exit. This action deprived me of my liberty until Duncan intervened. To be released, Duncan demanded an additional payment of 6,000 KES. Reluctantly and with great frustration, I complied with this demand. It was evident to me that there is a concerning practice at this hotel and Palms Resort where guests are extorted for more money than what has been previously agreed upon through legitimate booking channels. I urge you to investigate this matter thoroughly and consider removing MegMara Luxury Suites from your list of recommended hotels. The property operates more like a home with rooms rather than a proper establishment with adequate reception services, which is misleading.

We had an enjoyable stay. Its a Hidden Gem. Very upscale and classy. The Chef made delicious meals. Very quiet and private. They have a nice bar onsite. The decor and ambience is top notch. We were very pleased with our stay. They have various rooms with different set-ups. I will definitely pick the luxury suite next time. Thanks for having us.

First, i mistakenly booked 23rd instead of 24th November 2022. I immediately get across to hotels.com via online chat to change the date to 24th which they promise to revert back to me on the changes but, it was never effected. I had to make another booking for 24th November. Getting to the property, they find it difficult to see my booking reservation but the lady receptionist was nice with courtesy. The servicse at the hotel was so bad. Getting something to eat was zero, we place order from the kitchen and for hours we did not get anything to Eat, we had to go outside the hotel in search of KFC restaurant to get something to eat. Good beddings, furniture, nice environment but not good for tourist because its difficult accessing transportation. No towel, No toiletries, no breakfast as promises. I will never book this place for myself anymore talkless of recommending it to clients. Then for your information, is just a Four bedroom Apartments where all occupants of each room shared a common sitting room and dinning. Verdict:- Nice apartment but very bad management. I will never recommend this apartment to anyone.
