Wonderful hotel with a lovely bar and welcome drink in a great location.

Amazing property, wonderful staff. Superb breakfast. Our only issue was our room was at the front and it was incredibly noisy with drunken people on the street. Well past 3 AM.

The room smelled like the breath of the last 28 guests and their ancestors all the way to Mozart accumulated over time. It clearly had NOT been ventilated for months and that caused the air to smell stuffy and stale. Extremely unpleasant. And on top of that the AC did NOT work (despite the fact that the Expedia ad clearly says it includes AC). When we confronted the front desk about it they dismissed our complaint and told us to “open the window” (excuse me??? It was cold and rainy outside!!). We had to ask for a fan to have air circulating at least. Even when we complained to Expedia they still refused to do something about it supposedly because “it was a cold day” totally dismissing that the issue was NOT the temperature it was the smell. To make matters worse the bathroom had terrible water pressure and the “shower” is in a bathtub which makes it difficult (and dangerous) to use, especially for an older guest. And did I mention the room is on top of a staircase? Yes! Even if you come tired from an 8 hour train carrying 20kg+ luggage. You will still need to carry them up a staircase just to reach your room. Terrible for me as I was traveling with my 64 year old mom. And yeah, the TV was old (not a smart TV) and had nothing on except for German language shows. So not even that could help us relax in that horrible room. Overall I would not recommend this hotel especially considering the amount of options in the central area. Not coming back.

Wir sind rastlos begeistert vom Hotel Weisses Kreuz. Wir sind mit einer unglaublichen Freundlichkeit begrüßt worden und der Service war exzellent. Das Frühstück ist herausragend, die Bar im 6. Stock ist top. Wir kommen immer wieder, wenn wir in Innsbruck sind.

Great location in the old town. Breakfast was lovely - all very fresh and eggs made to order. Staff very helpful and attentive. Bed wasn’t the comfiest and room amenities weren’t great - no kettle or tea coffee making facilities. Decor was a little tired.

I would give this hotel 7 stars if it was possible. Lovely hotel with comfortable rooms. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. Every single one of them were incredible - polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and delightful. The breakfast was excellent. It was a pleasure staying here.

We had a wonderful stay in Innsbruck. The location truly couldn’t have been better—it was right in the heart of everything and made exploring the city incredibly easy. The room itself was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. We especially loved the view—looking out over the town with the mountains in the background was incredible and made the stay feel even more special. Check-in was simple and seamless, which made arrival stress-free. What really stood out was the location. We were just steps away from major sights, great restaurants, and convenient transportation options, making it easy to get around and experience the city. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and a perfect base for visiting Innsbruck.

Super Lage mitten in der Altstadt. Geschmackvolles Ambiente in einem stilvoll restaurierten Altstadthaus. Tolles Design und Einrichtung. Sehr stylische Bar, die gleichzeitig der Frühstücksraum ist. Super nettes Personal.

Next to the golden roof. Plenty of Shopping & restaurants. Walking distance to Ins River. Breakfast was excellent

Lovely hotel in the middle of shops and restaurants. Everywhere I was walkable. Staff were very attentive. Nice breakfast. The only odd thing was there was no wall between the bedroom and bathroom sink/shower area. If someone got up early to take a shower, the lights would not allow anyone else to stay asleep. Also you stepped out of the shower directly into the bedroom area. May be awkward for some people traveling together.
