Quiet, clean, and abounding with lovely rustic charm. A terrific place to unplug and get back to nature. Staff is kind, grounds are just beautiful with lots of places to tuck oneself in with a book or to just daydream. Breakfast was perfect. My husband recommends their pancakes:)

Beautiful gardens but no hummingbird feeders and variety of birds in April was limited. Obviously the hotel had tried to be more than it was with abandoned ziplines etc. I got the impression management was catering to one night stays for industrial sized groups to see quetzals. True, they succeed in that. Meanwhile other hotel birding trips were industrial too. Far better to get a ride to neighboring Batsu Gardens than use hotel birding tour.

On a eu un merveilleux séjour. Magnifique site. Belle excursion matinale à la recherche des quetzals. Seul inconvénient: wifi seulement au restaurant et aires communes.

A truly beautiful place, well laid out in a mountain valley. The atmosphere is welcoming and the restaurant is excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only minor suggestion for improvement would be to install Wi-Fi extenders to all the rooms. Our room was towards the back of the property and we lost the signal just before reaching it.

Trogon was one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. The property and the location was priceless. The staff was fantastic and always willing to help. The cabins were clean and cozy and with the weather it will probably the best sleep you will ever have. The Food is very good plus there are a few other very good options within a couple of KM's. The bar/lounge was amazing and a Mojito is a must...

This is gem in the middle of the mountains. The hotel is beautiful beyond words, the staff is excellent the food delicious. We had an amazing stay and will come back for sure. For me as a wildlife photographer, this was Paradise.

Rooms were very nice and clean. The washroom needs renovation.

The lodge and the cabin were excellent. The restaurant very nice, clean and the food and service were excellent. The trails on the property were fantastic. We loved this lodge!!

Un petit coin de paradis isolé pour les amoureux de la nature. Personnel très aimable, très bon restaurant je recommande le foie gras de poulet un délice. Les truites au menu sont élevés sur place. Le rapport qualité prix est un peu élevé. On y voit beaucoup d'oiseaux dont des colibris et surtout le quetzal. Le site est splendide. Les chambres sont charmantes et chauffées. Petit bémol quand il fait frais la salle de bain est un peu froide.

Excellent stay, excellent service, an incredible place to rest and be relax — fully recommended.
