Lovely, well-appointed rooms in small hotel in a pub. On main street but double glazing very effective. Stayed in small double which was perfect for 1 night.

Lodged with my wife for a night. Food was great, including breakfast. Has an old British charm, but it was incredibly small, the rooms, stairs well and hallways. The lodgings are above their pub in the town centre. Parking is behind the property with 4 EV charging bays.

Abendessen ist sehr zu empfehlen, da sehr gute Küche im Restaurant. Es gibt ein sehr gutes Frühstück aus einer großen Karte, aber es kümmert sich niemand wirklich um das kleine Buffet, ich musste jeden Morgen mehrmals nachfragen, da Sachen alle waren...

Perfect location, beautiful hotel and great staff, what more could you want!

The only problem as far as my wife and I were concerned were, front facing room (faced the high street) was a little noisy but the bigger concern was no blackout blind on the window and at 5 o’clock in the morning it seemed like someone had put all the lights on!! The room was very clean, the staff were excellent, breakfast was great all in all very happy apart from the above observation!

Fabulous night’s stay. Refurbished rooms with coffee maker, complimentary gin and full selection of toiletries. Had evening meal in the restaurant, a really interesting menu and good sized portions. Included breakfast was fabulous, buffet and cooked. Lovely staff, particularly Lucy who was helpful, efficient and friendly.

Very pleasant place to stay.

We stayed for one night and were impressed by how well kept the hotel is following its refurbishment a few years ago. Our room was clean, nicely furnished, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We enjoyed some time in the bar and had dinner in the restaurant, where the menu offered plenty of choice and the food was very good. Breakfast was equally enjoyable, with options to suit all tastes. The staff were excellent throughout our stay — polite, helpful and genuinely friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room, Falcor, is located at the back of the hotel above the kitchen. Unfortunately, this meant our night’s sleep was disturbed by occasional noise from what seemed to be a fan or kitchen equipment, followed by a much louder noise at 7:00 am when the kitchen extractor system was switched on for breakfast preparations. Would we stay again? Absolutely — just not in Falcor.

C’est la première fois que je rédige un avis sur un hôtel, mais celui-là était tellement exceptionnel par sa beauté, sa qualité et ses prestations qu’il fallait que je laisse quelques lignes en commentaire. Le personnel est tout simplement parfait, j’ai très bien mangé, alors que j’avais quelques appréhensions, sachant que j’allais en Angleterre, et ce n’est pas la première fois, et j’ai rarement été satisfait. Le bâtiment un peu rustique, mais magnifiquement décoré et agencé. Rien à redire.

Excellent room at the top though had to be careful to avoid head on beams on occasions !!! Very clean everything provided, superb shower. Good breakfast
