Overall, great room and comfortable bed. Really great TV and options, Nice clean bathroom, but it would have been nice to have a bar of soap. I didn't ask for one as I just used the body wash in shower to wash hands. Also, breakfast at 6 am instead of 7am would have been nice during the week to accommodate early risers.

Love the make-up clothes and dis-likes no way to heat food. No Microwaves

Brittany at the front desk was on top of her game, attending to every detail with professional excellence. The place was immaculate and has earned every bit of its high rating. Sometimes food in hotel lobby restaurants can be questionable, but not here, the food was amazing, in particular, the french onion and bacon omelet with potato bites. The rooftop bar was phenomenal even in the heat, great views! Parking is across the street but easy to get to from the street or the back entrance. The hotel is located within walking distance to a number of restaurants. Both York and the hotel not only look charming and nostalgic but also feel that way while spending time there. The only glitch and far from a deal killer is that due to this being an old hotel in the city, the main/best entrance is in the rear on E Mason Avenue. However, maps takes you to the rntrance on E Market Street which has an inset in the curb...but only for buses and emergencies. That doesn't sound like a problem, however, you can't just "go around the block". In order to approach the hotel from the one way E Mason Ave, you have to go around several blocks to get there. As it is unlikely that York will change it's one way street system, perhaps using the rear entrance in maps software which could avoid some extra driving.

The bar drinks were very good

A gorgeous property in the heart of charming downtown York. The front desk staff was super friendly and informative, the room was stunning and the lobby is inviting.

The staff was super nice, check in and out was easy. THe rooms were large and clean. THe bar was nice and good prices.

Beautifully renovated old building

The property & staff was outstanding. We enjoyed the overall vibe of the hotel and how it was a modernized retro feel, almost like a former bank or post office that was transformed. While our stay was only for one night, I would highly recommend staying here whether it is for business or pleasure.

All of the above items cheched above. Perfect dustance to EVERYTHING. Jen was super nice and receptive at front desk.

Staff was very nice, but it’s a hundred year old building and the room we stayed in had a dated bathroom.

Very nice hotel

The check in was odd and the agent seemed confused by the 3rd party booking and told me to just not worry about a $300 hold that he would just take care of. The room would not cool down. We had the air set at 68 and were sweating all night. The actual temp never got below 74. Breakfast at the bar in the morning was also just strange and we felt we were bothering the staff by just being there. The host was nowhere to be found to seat us and a server was upset that they were missing and was annoyed she had to walk me to a table. The service was slow and the servers just openly complained about there being no help even though there were 3 of them and only 6 tables. The food was mediocre and since the tables are in such close proximity we were able to tell that other guests had major concerns with the edibility of their food.

We had a new visit. It was all good.

It was very clean. The rooms were very up-to-date and fresh feeling, especially the beautiful bathrooms. The common areas had gorgeous art made by local artists. My only complaint was that we could hear the thumping bass from the wedding reception downstairs in our room, but it seemed like they turned it down by 9:30 or 10pm, so not a major problem.

Excellent historic hotel, restored like new to by Hilton. Great service, friendly bar, and very good breakfast. Recommended.

Nice hotel with an excellent rooftop bar & easy reasonably priced parking right there.
