Had a wonderful time despite the torrential rain. The place is in a great location, just steps from the beach. The food is good and the bed and shower are nice. Great staff, good tips. Immaculately clean! Bring mosquito spray in case it rains.

This was my own little Gillian Island. As a solo African-American female traveler, I felt safe. I chose not to do the club scene but it was only a 15 minute cab ride away. Great for rest and renewal.

Fantastic location right on the beach. Beautiful clean room. Black out shades. Danny was incredibly friendly and helpful and created a great environment in the bar/restaurant. Food was delicious and there are 4 additional beach bars with great food and drink. Transportation after 9 is challenging, so just have to plan that part. CC

Hostel Mar y Sal is a fantastic place to relax at. It's a stone's throw from the glorious Las Salinas Beach, making this one of the best features of the hotel. There are only a handful of rooms; where the 'superior' ones have a Juilet balcony to allow more light, compared to the 'standard' rooms. Otherwise, the size and proportions are similar. Fresh beach towels are provided daily. Breakfast wasn't included, but the bar/restaurant had a great food. This is a 'hostal' rather a hotel, so as long as you're aware, then nothing should be a surprise, e.g. there is no 24hr reception, kettle or iron. Although, I think an iron could be requested if asked for. Saying that, communication was great and the staff were absolutely fantastic.

Wonderful boutique hotel within easy walking distance of beautiful beaches. Nice small restaurant and bar. Eager to return!

This hotel is a hidden gem located in the Ses Salines of Ibiza! The staff is incredibly accommodating and friendly, making me feel welcome and at home from the moment I arrived. The cleaning staff was also very kind, and my room was cleaned to a sparkling standard every day. The furnishings in the room are modern, yet still embody Ibiza's classic hippie-chic and bohemian style. The breakfast and overall food selection are excellent, with everything being prepared fresh in an open kitchen. The hotel is situated right by the sea, and there is a small path that takes you directly to Las Salinas beach. The only suggestion for improvement I have is to have a small information sheet in every room with essential details such as the WiFi password, breakfast hours, restaurant menu, and maybe some tips or recommendations for local places in the surrounding area. For instance, Sa Canal is just around the corner, and it could be interesting for some. However, even without that, the staff is incredibly helpful, and my stay was definitely a 10/10. I will undoubtedly return!

Beautiful place! Great staff! Shout out to Betty and Max. Only downside is lack of close by restaurants for dinner. (The hotel restaurant is great for breakfast and lunch but is sadly closed at night.) A fridge would be nice to have picnics as an alternative to going out…

We had an excellent 5 day vacation stay at Mar y Sal. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and kind. They made us feel right at home. If we needed something they were happy to accommodate. The location is just a few steps to the beach. We also loved the food at the restaurant. The kimchi eggs Benedict was our favorite but recommend it all!
