Upon arrival at the hotel, I was informed that the property had oversold its rooms and that my reservation was barely listed in their system. The staff had to make several adjustments and cancellations in order to provide me with a room, resulting in a check-in process that took over 30 minutes.
Once I entered my room, I discovered that there was no internet service. A staff member attempted to fix the issue, but the problem was never resolved. As a result, the television was also not working, and I was unable to work from my room, which was essential during my business trip.
The following day, after a long workday, I returned to my room expecting the issue to have been resolved, but the internet was still unavailable. I was forced to work from the hotel’s common areas instead.
Unfortunately, the situation became even worse that night. A severe storm caused significant water leakage in my room. I was awakened by the sound of dripping water and found the room flooded. Both beds were wet, and there was standing water throughout the bathroom and much of the room itself.
These issues reflect serious failures in both the hotel’s infrastructure and the services it advertises and provides. While the property is visually beautiful, the magnitude of these problems significantly impacted my stay and left me with no desire to return.
