Loved our stay!

Very nice place to stay and very friendly staff, Location is amazing close to anything you really want Only drawbacks are it can get very loud at nights especially when the garbage trucks collecting garbage around 4am. Also there is no gym in hotel and no other option for workout during your stay. Maybe they can partner with some of the gyms nearby.

What a stunning and charming historic hotel in the heart of Palo Alto. The staff is fantastic, the hotel decor and style is gorgeous and unique, the rooms are beautifully decorated and appointed and the roof-top lounge is a must for the view and a drink by the fire. Would 100% recommend. This hotel a total gem.

Proximity to restaurants, shopping and business. Great staff. Nice comfortable and quiet room. Unique atmosphere with great rooftop bar.

Unique property. Climate control had no instructions and was impossible to operate. Street sweeping in the middle of the night woke us up.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was kind and helpful and the roof top bar was a big bonus. I wish we had more time up there. My only complaint was the mattress because it sagged a bit in the middle.

Nice beds and great location

Property was nice. Really unique with a good tie to Stanford. However, absolutely not worth the $800 / night I paid. Outrageous pricing for what you get.

Room AC was erratic and keep going from warm to cold. Rooftop patio warned me to bring a passport if I came a second time because I had a Canadian ID (I am 55 years old!).

Best located hotel in Palo Alto, super designed, cozy

Stayed on 6th floor. Booming music playing in rooftop bar carried through the ceiling late into the night. Could not sleep.

Rooms were small but very comfortable, staff very pleasant and helpful , room service would be nice. Note if you’re on the 6th floor there is music from the rooftop bar above until 10pm on the weekends ( good to know). Overall good vibe and great location!

The property is really pretty and in a great location. However, check-in was frustrating after a 7-hour drive. I had booked and paid for two rooms, but was initially told there was only one. After some back-and-forth and help from other staff members, they finally located the second room. Unfortunately, they couldn’t place both rooms on the same floor. If both rooms had been found right away, I’m sure we could’ve at least been near each other. Also, I was woken up around 4 a.m. by a very loud noise that sounded like a vacuum and lasted for about 30 minutes. It was hard to get good rest. The doors in the building also close very loudly — every time someone shut their door, our room would shake. Overall, the location is great, but the experience could’ve been better.

Nice property in great location and amazing water pressure in shower. Downsides were VERY loud service in alley starting at 5 am and no coffee in lobby.
