This hotel, though it’s only three stars, really tries to be four. The new renovations were lovely and made me feel welcomed. I especially loved the decor; it made me feel special for being there. The beds were super comfy, and the showers were nice. The staff are plentiful and so friendly and helpful. Plus, the location was perfect for exploring Madrid. It was easy to walk to the main shopping district or hop on the metro to get around. There’s also a taxi stand nearby for a quick ride. Pan y Pepinillos Cafe had the best breakfast—it’s about a five-minute walk from the hotel. It only seats about ten, but we managed to snag a seat on two different days. If you can’t get a seat, order takeout.
