Friendly, helpful staff particularly breakfast waiter. Room was lovely and clean with a few bonus treats which were much appreciated. Breakfast was included with our booking, this was generous and delicious and the breakfast room has a lovely outlook. Would stay again.

A lovely little hotel slightly off the beaten track but within easy distance of Stirling and main routes to the highlands. Beautifully decorated. Excellent breakfast. The pub food is really good too should you need lunch or dinner. It was quite warm and humid when I visited with no a/c, although hotel provided a fan, which was helpful. It’s located at a busy intersection, so there is traffic, but given that it’s located in the country, there is still a sense of peace about it. Highly recommend.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect for our travels. Beautiful building with lots of character. The linens were very nice. The hallways could use a fresh coat of paint, but every was very nicely decorated and high quality. We’ve been in Scotland two weeks and this was one of our favorite places we stayed at. Breakfast was very nice.

Friendly staff in a welcoming small hotel. Our room, the Willow, was very comfortable and quiet. We ate dinner in the restaurant which was good and Breakfast was great also.

Very bright and modern rooms with comfortable beds. The breakfast was very good and fresh and the dinner in the pub was good as well. Great for a one night stay as everything is there in the same building. The town is small but the Doune castle is worth visiting.

The staff are very friendly. The room was cozy, and clean. Breakfast was fantastic, as was anything we ordered from the restaurant at dinner. Great food. The village is small, so it was a nice short little walk to the store, and castle nearby. We're very happy we stayed here, and we would definitely stay here again.

This was an excellent stop. We were all so tired and relieved to find how good the restaurant was. You may need a reservation, it was busy when we were there mid April. Quiet rooms, comfy beds, excellent water pressure. Beautiful room decor.

What a lovely hotel, all the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and spotless and nice little touches like the snacks in the room really made it stand out. Very nice restaurant too. Would definitely go back.

Room was great, food was great. Bed was soft. Walls really thin and could hear every word of the conversation in the room next door.

Used this hotel as an overnight stopover. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice to an older place newly refurbished. Let down by old very damp windows in the bedroom. Food only average and sweets poor. However- public areas compromised with small bar area stuck between dining area and breakfast area. Main bugbear was dogs. Signage says well behaved dogs welcome. Reality was a continuously barking dog in the dining area, one up on the seats in the bar area and one old large hairy one blocking the comfy setees. Won't be back
