This could of been a five star review but because of simple things its not ! . It is a busy Pub ,well it was when stayed . Firstly i thought i was off to a good start then they offered to cook me something when the kitchens closed which was very good . My room was huge what i had for the night bu

Had a lovely stay at the Red Lion for Grand National weekend. We usually stay somewhere else, however, we were really pleased with the hotel, and would probably stay again in the future. The room was amazing. Gorgeous comfy bed, lots of space and decent shower and bath. The food was your average pub grub, served hot and quickly. The staff were lovely and attentive in the bar. The reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 was because unfortunately the hair dryer didn't work (luckilly i took my travel one anyway), and the tea/coffee station wasn't restocked for the next day despite being asked if we'd like anything. Very minimal things that were negative, but thought I should bring them up so that it doesn't happen in future. All round a lovely trip in a lovely location. Thank you!

We stayed at the Red Lion for a few days as we were meeting family. The accommodation is situated at the back of the pub and is bright and clean. You can access it by walking through the pub or walking round the back. There is plenty of parking but it can get busy when the pub is open! It’s situation means you have easy access to get to many places by road very quickly. The staff who work there are fantastic and very helpful. We had breakfast each morning as well which was excellent! I would recommend staying here

Room a little tired - cracked sink, toilet seat wouldn’t stay up when using the loo. Great little village pub and very friendly staff. Good value for money including breakfast.

Staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. The chalets- this is essentially a motel set up- were delightful, modern, clean and well appointed! Food and drink was excellent and great value for money! Location is beautiful- overlooking stunning countryside

Lovely stay at this hotel. Room was spotless and a very good size. Pub was cosy and comfortable. The staff team were lovely and friendly. Would definitely stay here again and cant recommend highly enough. And fantastic value for money
