Nothing wrong the aesthetics of the hotel and appeared clean. Staff were good. Just the second Marston’s Inn in a year that I’ve been bitten badly by bed bugs. Reported and hopefully will get sorted. 100% will not stay at another Marston’ Inn.

Nice place, it the lack of ventilation and air conditioning spoiled what could have been a nice stay. Bed was comfy and the room was nice overall, just visit in autumn and winter!

Lovely room, helpful staff and super breakfast. Easy parking too. Only minor gripe was that the window didn't stay open and we had to prop it open with a toilet roll. The was a bit of an issue as the weather was unseasonable warm and there is no AC in the room. However, the staff did say this was already noted and action was being taken. This was our second stay at the hotel and we would certainly visit again.

Not one bad staff member, all were polite and friendly from bar, reception to cleaners. Rooms were a good size, clean, comfortable and pretty. The terrace and bar were beautiful and had a great, chilled atmosphere. Food and drink were spot on from coffee, alcohol and really tasty, well-made breakfast and dinner! Only downside is the windows not opening in the room, the grounds outside were a little messy and the plants needed some love but would not stop me coming back and recommending to all.

It was fine. It's a bit of a walk from the car park to the top floor, so best unload before parking. The room was large, the bed was comfortable. The morning light came through the curtains, should have used an eye mask. The staff were mostly nice and it was cheaper than the nearest Prermier Inn.

The property has an imposing stance and even before entering, suggests a degree of elegance and style. The start was not good, however, as upon entering the room, I found that it had not been serviced. I cannot remember if I received an apology - suggesting that maybe I didn't - but the hotel deducted the price of two bottles of wine from a dinner for 8 as a paliative. Once serviced, the room was fine. It was well appointed, but cold initially as for understanable reasons of cost, the heating was turned down. The heating worked fine when I turned it on. The food was good, and breakfasts in particular were very good. Car parking was ample. Location was perfect for our needs Staff - Older lady who did breakfast - very good Young girl (Georgia?) - was excellent Tall bearded (?) guy - somewhat dour and seemed not suited to customer service Excellent hot water Extra towel would have been a plus Would have liked to have seen a Cab Sauv in the bar. There were similar grapes, but I like cab sauv!.

We had to wait for food. Had to ask about check out.

Lovely hotel, very nicely decorated room, very friendly and helpful staff and an excellent restaurant downstairs. I would definitely use again if i was in the area. Excellent value for money.

The room was lovely and clean with a massive comfy bed. Staff very helpful and friendly. Just one small gripe was that the bathroom was very cold. However the staff did come with a heater.

The staff here are absolutely amazing, the room was great and clean.

Staff were fine, the place is cute, but it wasn’t anything particularly special. The rooms lack proper bright lighting, perhaps it’s meant to set a romantic mood but there’s nowhere with decent light to do makeup and get ready in the morning. Lamp above the sink in the bathroom was out, perhaps if it was working that would have been bright enough. They’ve put a low armchair at the coffee/tea/vanity desk… when you sit in it, your chin is level with the desk. Doesn’t work well. Pillows were bad but the mattress was good for my back, not too soft. Water pressure was nice but I think the rainfall shower head needed to be tightened, when you adjusted the angle water shot out the top. I did love that all the lights are independently controlled with their own switches… can’t stand the newer “master” light panels that hotels have.

Second time staying at Florentine. Quiet, comfy and spotlessly clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms tastefully decorated. Would definitely stay again.

The room was spotless, comfortable the staff and all the amenities were excellent.
