The hotel was located close to the Amber Fort. The staff was respectful and attentive. The breakfast was not included but we purchased it and felt it was good. The pricing was higher than listed in the Expedia property details. The room. was comfortable. Just make sure to keep a card in the alot by the door so the AC dies not turn off.

The staff was very nice and the room clean and perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The food in the restaurant was also good and we enjoyed the culture show.

Lean rooms

Room was lovely. We slept really well. Staff were lovely. Actually this trip was for my mums birthday so they made a little cake for her and that was very lovely too. Really wasn’t won over with check in as we were told that they were fully booked and so didn’t have the room we booked but they did manage to find us a room and after that is was ok. This is a wedding hotel and is not for tourists!!! Everything about this hotel is scheduled around the weddings from if you get the room you booked and paid for to the decorations and flowers to the quality of breakfast you will get. The hotel was also undergoing renovations and so the pool area was not particularly nice. The flooring was all chipped and there was a lot of work men up there. The staff just stand around on their phones. Breakfast was so noisy my Mum and I were practically shouting at each other. Not relaxing at all. The first wedding was so noisey. Shouting and screaming in the corridors at night also the room adjoining ours had a telephone ringing consistently and the room is not sound proofed in anyway. The best part of this trip was actually a guitarist they had in the bar who was genuinely amazing!! I slept well. We enjoyed a swim. My mum was very happy with the cake and we had a nice evening in the bar with the music so yes it wasn’t awful and also there was a nice gym and yes the staff were so friendly. I’d never stay there again but I’m hoping that coming up we have some better experiences of Taj hotels.

Loved our stay at Taj Amer ! The Property is almost new and staff exceptional good ! Traveling with my girlfriends from United States , one of my friend got food poisoning after eating street food and , when I reached the front staff , they promptly helped me with electrolytes which helped my friend a great deal ! Ever grateful to the helpful staff at Taj Amer !

The facility is amazing and beautiful. The staff are very attentive. The actual service is a mess. Both the concierge and the reception desk are a problem. I hope that my experience was somehow a one-off, but they didn't seem to act like this was unusual. I had been in email contact with the concierge for weeks before our arrival to arrange a tour guide for two days in Jaipur. In multiple emails I asked, and they confirmed that a guide was already lined up and that the guide had reviewed my custom itinerary in advance. When we arrived, I introduced myself to the concierge who said that he could "call a guide for us". I told him that a guide was already arranged and showed him the emails. He was unaware of this and again said he would "find" a guide. The guide arrived 30 minutes later, and confirmed with me that he had never seen my itinerary and wasn't told about the tour until the call 30 minutes earlier. Later when one of my travel companions left his room card in the room and requested another, they looked him up in the system and said that he was staying in a different room, and tried to give him a key to the wrong room. Checking out was a total mess. Rooms that had been prepaid in Expedia were credited to different guests, and they made us re-pay. Later, when this was reviewed they said it would 5-7 business days for us to receive refunds for the double charge.

I had a two-night booking at Taj Amer. After checking in, I experienced a sudden medical emergency and had to request a doctor to come to my room late at night. The next morning, I had to check out early to seek urgent medical care. Despite explaining the situation at checkout, the hotel refused to offer any refund or adjustment for the second night, even though I was unable to complete my stay due to an emergency. I understand policies exist, but I expected more empathy and reasonable accommodation in these circumstances. The handling of this situation felt rigid and unhelpful, and it significantly impacted my trip.

Hotel feels new (Jan 2025) and service is excellent. For tourism, it’s a bit outside Jaipur but not far from the Amber Palace. Would recommend.

Great staff!! And clean rooms

The hotel, property and grounds were really great. We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay. The attentive of the staff was a bit lacking for a Taj properly but overall a very good stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Taj Amer. The hospitality was warm and thoughtful, the property beautiful, and the food absolutely delicious. The special care shown to our toddler made the experience even more memorable. Truly a relaxing and comforting stay—thank you, Taj Amer!

Hotellet er flot vedligenoldt og personalet er meget serviceminded. Maden er fin. Man bør have småpenge i receptionen således, at gæsterne kan veksle, da det er svært at klare sig i Indien uden småpenge. Der er ingen individuel shampo og shower gel, som jeg forventer på et 5 stjernet hotel. Check out tog lang, lang, lang tid og vi måtte betale uden at vide, om det var et korrekt beløb.

Great stay overall

Outstanding hotel with 1st class hospitality! All staff were very welcoming, attentive and accommodating. Mahi (reception) & Shakti (pool area) along with so many others are worth a special mention. Hotel decor, rooms and ambience was amazing. Credit to the Taj brand. The breakfast with a live kitchen menu was a real highlight, along with the rooftop pool with views to remember.
