Very homey hotel from the inside but from the outside, it looks a bit abandoned. The room was super clean and sufficient. The staff were absolutely wonderful.

Everything was all right. A good place to stay if you want to visit Studagil Canyon in the evening. It’s only 20 minutes drive away.

Great view, very private.

There was a strange and strong smell in the room, and the hotel seems aware of it and they left all the windows open when I got my room.

Problemloser check-in, Parkplatz am Haus, sauberes, geräumiges Zimmer, freundliches Personal und gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Gutes Abendessen verfügbar.

Don’t let the exterior fool you… It’s deceptively charming on the inside! The decor is immaculate and very ornately carved. The restaurant is good, too. Not a fan of the modern style bathroom with half a shower door. There was no TV in our room, but we were too tired to want to watch any TV, anyway.

Old school house converted into unique lodgings. Good food, comfortable rooms and exceptional hosts.

Pleasant stay great experience

Great little place. Curb appeal From road isn't the best but spotless and updated inside. Had a nice lounge area which was great to relax in after a long day. Breakfast was ok it did the job. Fresh and organized. Location was great to get a late visit or early visit to studlagil canyon. There's also an amazing waterfall down the road

Breakfast finished before 0830, there was no milk also after that, which was disappointing! Rooms were clean and tidy! Staff were polite and nice

What a charming place! We stayed here in April 2026 with two other guest parties. It was peacefully quiet. There are no restaurants nearby, so plan to eat dinner here or bring it with you. A mini fridge and microwave are available. This is convenient to the Studlagil Canyon, which is why we stayed here. Our room was very comfortable with a large bathroom. Our hosts were friendly and offered some travel suggestions. We appreciated the inclusion of breakfast with our stay. Wifi worked great. Recommend staying here for the canyon hike or because you want to be in nature.
