Clean room with a cosy breakfast and kind staff in the heart of Male - walkable to many areas around the old part of the city and very close to the airport! The airport transfer included in the price of the room was great - kind staff and accommodating for the last minute changes in flight times. The only issue was that we stayed on the second floor and the rooms were not very well insulated and we could hear the noise from the road

Picked up at the airport for our one night stay prior to transferring to our resort. Excellent communication prior to our stay about pickup from the airport. Good breakfast, clean rooms, friendly staff. Trip back to airport was easy as well. Highly recommended!

Ich buchte das Marukab Plaza für eine Nacht vor dem Abflug am nächsten Morgen. Die Kommunikation per WhatsApp betreff Transport funktionierte wunderbar. Wir hatten ein kleines Zimmer, das sehr sauber und mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet war. Weil unsere Flüge wegen der Middle East Krise storniert und immer wieder verschoben wurden, blieben wir total 6 Nächte im Marukab. Ich wurde immer sehr höflich unterstützt. Bei Rückkehr aus einer anderen Unterkunft wurden wir mit Willkommensdrink und Kuchen auf unserem Zimmer überrascht. Der Airport-Transport ist inklusive, aber auch das Boot direkt zum Flughafen ist in 5min zu Fuss erreichbar und gleich um die Ecke hat es einen Supermarkt. Das Frühstück im Restaurant bietet eine gute Auswahl.

I stayed in two rooms first quite cosy but very clean TV above bathroom foot is silly. 2nd room larger again very clean. Staff very friendly, airport pickup went smoothly. Breakfast adequate but would like yoghurt ( personal taste) room service good.

Spent 1 night here before joining a tour, and it was perfect. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was amazing. They also offer complimentary airport pickup/drop off which was very convenient. I would happily stay here again!

Fácil traslado, habitación pequeña, desayuno simple. Bien para una noche, rumbo a otras islas.

From the staff to the room, everything was perfect. the shuttle from the airport was easy to arrange and co-ordinate pickup, they even helped to ensure that our arrival back to the airport for our seaplane departure was seamless. Great hotel!

Ravie d’avoir un taxi de l’hôtel de l’aéroport et au retour. C’est offert. L’hôtel est à 15 mns de l’aéroport. Le quartier est proche de l’embarcadère des transferts et Male est constitué de ruelles. Chambre deluxe très bien. Malheureusement gros bruit des travaux extérieurs toute la nuit j’ai réussi à m’endormir vers 3h du matin avec boules quies. Personnel vraiment très gentil et petit déjeuner très copieux. Quand les travaux seront finis je mettrai 5! Merci

Location was close to the airport but otherwise not great. Hot water didn’t work. WiFi didn’t work. Staff was friendly and breakfast was nice.

room was ok. the price felt like too much considering hot water lasted only about three minutes. it is so noisy on that street since early in the morning and thorughout the entire day. breakfast was ok. location is good also.
