I was a little hesitant to book this property because of some of the reviews I saw but I honestly didn't have any issues. Once I booked, I started receiving communication from the property manager, I paid my fee and got my instructions all smooth. The place was clean, had everything I needed for my stay and there were several options for food nearby.

Great stay, easy to access and to communicate with the host. Would recommend.

We had an incredible stay at Urban Chic Apartments in Philadelphia! The apartment was well-equipped, clean, and super comfortable, especially the bed. It truly felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect for exploring the city and close to Fairmount Park, which was ideal since we came into Philly for the Roots Picnic Festival. Ubers were easy to get and usually arrived in under 10 minutes. We loved staying in an apartment rather than a traditional hotel, it gave us more space, privacy, and it was nice and quiet, which made it easy to relax after long days out. One minor downside: there was no microwave, and we couldn’t quite figure out the remote situation. But those were small things compared to how great everything else was. A fun bonus was the Water Ice place right across the street, they serve food, too, which was super convenient. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Philly who doesn’t mind taking an Uber to get around. Thank you for making our trip so memorable!

This was a last-minute rental, and the price was quite reasonable. The property wasn't entirely clean (sticky floors and a sprig from a plant on the couch), but it was quite roomy -- a kitchen, bathroom, living room, and small bedroom. That was a lot of space for very little money, and parking on the street outside was easy to find. Other than the loud outside street noise, the only complaint I had was that there wasn't much bedding, only a sheet and a fairly thin coverlet, no blankets. There was a lot of clear communication from the owner, which made the stay pretty straightforward. This wasn't the most central location in the city, but if you have a car, it was worth the low cost. Most properties in Philadelphia were far more expensive.

The property was clean and spacious. We liked the large TV and that it was very close to the MFL train station, so we could get around easily. There was water damage on the bedroom ceiling that was an eyesore. Also, it would have been nice to have a microwave in the kitchen. Overall, though, we did enjoy our stay at Urban Chic Apartments.

Honestly the place was alright. They only gave us one trash bag and nowhere for us to throw out trash when it got full. Other than that place was alright

We had a very nice 3-day stay this weekend. Communication was clear and straightforward, which we appreciated. Access to the train was very convenient. All of the amenities, particularly the stovetop and fridge were helpful and enhanced our stay. Thank you!

I liked the size of the property for it’s a price and the host communicated well.

My stay was horrible. The pictures that were shown on hotel.com was not the pictures of the unit I was in. Lack in communication with property. The condition of the property was horrible. I don't understand why this property is listed on hotel.com. There was a AC unit in the window, I asked if it can be removed from the window because it was so cold, no response from the property owner. The bed sheets were dingy and worn out, the floors was dirty haven't been mopped, there will only two bath towels and two hand towels no washcloths at all. There were no broom to sweep with so you can clean up after yourself. There were nowhere to dispose of trash, had to walk up to the gas station to get rid of it. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Its very quiet here & thats the best part!! The owner has good communication!! Very clean!

There were a few problems but owner addressed them right away.

Capital Hotel asked that I submit an honest review in order to receive a prompt refund of my incidental fee, so here it is: I have never received the check in instructions from Capital Hotel before 3pm and had to call the property while waiting 15 minutes in front of the door before receiving the instructions. Check in was everything but smooth. Once inside, I was given the password of the wifi under FREE TRIAL! Well the wifi never worked. I have sent several message to try and sort it out and again the communication was not great because I had yet to hear back from the property. Since there was no internet, the smart tv was not so smart and therefore useless. The bathtub was clogged. I started taking a shower and after 2 minutes I thought as was taking a bath. There is nothing in the area, I tried to go for grocery shopping and the Walgreens was empty I had to get my groceries delivered. The apartment is not so close to the city center: it’s about 5 miles from the City Hall. Now on to the positive side, the apartment is spacious, and can have 4 person (although only one bed and a small sofa) It’s convenient if you want to cook at home (although not so many cookware just a couple pans) there is a fridge, and a stove. No microwave. There are also a washer and dryer in unit which is convenient.

Staying here was the cherry on the top of the cake . First time visiting Philadelphia and we enjoyed the city and our stay in this residency. They provide clear instructions of check in and check out and everything went smooth.

The area wasn’t too bad and had some amazing restaurants within walking distance. The stairs to the unit are a bit steep, but manageable.
