Our stay was very good. It was in the middle of the steep hill. So, was a minute walk from Lincoln castle. Around the hotel was lovely boutique shops and cafes. The a Hotel had a coffee shop that served lovely food. We would definitely return to Rest hotel. 😍

We had a wonderful stay at the Rest. The bed was so comfortable, There was everything provided for your comfort. Good quality products. Nice table and chairs on the balcony. Drinks were brought up to us from the cafe/bar. Nothing was too much trouble. Parking is a little walk away but that's the small price for staying so central. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely be staying here again when in Lincoln

Nice spot off steep hill. Owners good with communication and instructions. Very good condition. Rooms relatively compact and ideal for short trip.

The room was very clean and tidy. Would have liked more coffee bags especially as the cafe downstairs was closed when we arrived on the Monday and only open from 10am - 2 on the other days. Instructions for checking in and out were very clear. Stairs and outside areas were gritted prior to. Snowfall.

Stayed for two nights and a weekend break for two. Location is excellent but it is on Steep Hill and it’s named that for a reason. We couldn’t drop off outside parked down the hill which was a big mistake. Make sure you park above the place. The room was excellent and was clean and tidy with all the facilities you could want. The cafe is underneath and has great coffee and friendly service and you get 10% discount as a guest. Highly recommended and a great location to explore wonderful Lincoln.

Lovely self contained room with small kitchenette and en suite. Comfortable space and bed. The only minor complaint is the shower which only provided a small amount of water and not much power.

Nice modern, well appointed, clean rooms accessed by a shared terrace with seating and tables. Kitchenette and basic kitchenware were advantageous

It was one night and would have preferred single beds. Otherwise there was nothing g at all that had been forgot in the rooms . Very well thought out accommodation and reasonably priced . The staff in the cafe were absolutely lovely !!

Great place in a fantastic location. Lincoln is a great place to visit and this hotel was perfect.

Great room, comfy bed, clean and convenient for the Cathedral and Castle. Had small problem with the YV which was put right swiftly and with a smile. Great service. I can’t fault this hotel at all. Also great value for money and it’s always nice to buy independent and local

The Rest Inn, located on Steep Hill is right in the heart of Lincoln and close to the Cathedral, Castle and the hustle and bustle of a traditional market town with so much on offer. Our suite was comfortable with many thoughtful touches and an area outside with tables and chairs for occupants of each room to enjoy eating or just being outside. Great shower and comfy bed. Communication was excellent. Great value.

So close to the Cathedral, Castle and shopping. Super-clean and comfortable. Lovely to have the cafe downstairs - don’t think it could have been bettered!
