Staff were some of the nicest people. Great prepared breakfast with everything so fresh even warm bread.

Place is decent in order to save money. I little out of the main tourist area, but easy to access by Tuk tuk.

I had a wonderful stay at Posada Don José. The room was spacious and clean, the staff were incredibly kind and attentive, and the garden is simply beautiful. The hotel is a bit farther from downtown, but it’s only about a 15-minute walk, and there are plenty of tuk tuks passing by. The breakfast was also delicious. The only minor inconvenience was that my room was close to the entrance, so I could hear some road noise (though I eventually got used to it). One night, a few guests were locked out and kept knocking on the gate, which was a bit disruptive. Aside from that, I highly recommend this hotel. The hospitality is unmatched, there is reliable hot water with good shower pressure, and everything is very clean and well organized.

Very friendly staff. Cute, clean place. The bed was a bit hard for my liking. The only recommendation I have is the need for a place to plug in the phone next to the bed. I had to move the bed to find an outlet.

Room was as advertised, clean & spacious. Only issue was room had no hot water. Staff let me use the shower of the next door room. Staff handled it well. Hotel rooms have hot water. Only my room had hot water issues. which staff promptly addressed.

El lugar es acojedor, con un patio central relajante lleno de árboles, cuenta con parqueo, la habitación sencilla pero limpia y con buena presentación, hasta me ofrecieron cafecito en la tarde. Para quienes viajamos de paso o vamos por trabajo es una excelente opción, pregunten por la tarifa de viajero.

Everything was excellent at Posada de Don José. Check in was simple and they let us check in early. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are simple, but very clean and comfortable. I will stay again if I come back to Pana.

Beautiful place out of town a 10 Quetsales talk tuck ride get you into the main area and the lake would stay here again
