Coral house was a perfect stop before heading to Puerto Barrios the next day . We caught the 12pm bus in Belize city and arrived around 6pm. After a 6 hour trip we felt right at home. They have beautiful grounds and warm hospitality. We were starving after our trip but bc it was Sunday everything was closed so we walked about a 15 min walk to Tim's shopping center . Thankfully they were open ! Thanks to the locals who suggested we try them we were able to buy ramen and fruit and other goodies to hold a few teenagers over. We got the Deluxe Suite, 1 Queen Bed with Sofa bed, Ocean View. Our room was fully equipped. My son didnt mind sleeping on the couch in the living room and my 2 daughters had a room and we had a room. The rooms were comfortable, clean and had AC!!! We had breakfast the next morning before heading out! They ordered a taxi for us and thankfully the taxi driver helped us get ferry tickets and even took us to the ATM to go get more money the same morning. He charged us about $20 usd i think. Everyone was willing to help us first timers in Punta Gorda. Make sure you figure out the ferry schedule and have $50 usd pp in cash and your passports ready when you go purchase your tickets. Then get ready to pay $40 usd pp when getting through immigration. They do take cards. We barely caught the 930 am ferry out to Puerto Barrios. Leave before 9am from the Coral House to give you enough time to fill out paperwork at immigration office and do last minute stuff.

We enjoyed the accommodations the pool and restaurants within walking distance. We used their bicycles to tour around town.

Lovely hotel with awesome staff. Fresh scones and fruit for the free continental breakfast! The room was a bit tight but very nice. Beautiful pool. Food at the bar is quite limited and pretty much not available after 4:00 pm. I would stay here again. Nice grounds and garden.

We stayed in the "Suite". 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath, Kitchen, and Living room. View of Caribbean was lovely. We enjoyed our stay and would return.

Coral house is such a gem that I actually don’t want to share! But as I do want the to stay in business… It is a serene, well built hotel on the water with shady spots and set up to catch the breeze. The hotel serves breakfast; continental is free, but a made to order breakfast is also available for a reasonable fee. The pool is a lap pool and the thatched cabana was a perfect place to relax with coffee. Did I mention the comfortable beds? The staff, including Greta the cat, is helpful and very accommodating. I will be back!

Coral House is an oasis in PG. It has a beautiful pool and garden area. There is an honour bar and complementary continental breakfast. The staff were very helpful. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend the Coral House. Thankyou so much

I liked the small, quiet hotel. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated with a lot of interesting cultural items. Additionally, we were allowed to use the bar at night through an honor system. We just noted what we took out of the refrigerator, etc. !!!

Hotel è confortevole e carino ma se decidete di soggiornare a Punta Gorda sappiate che senza auto non si riesce a fare quasi nulla e se ci siete nel weekend è persino difficile trovare un ristorante!

It was excellent

I was surprised to find such a comfortable and well appointed room in Punta Gorda. The staff went out of their way to meet our every request. The food was excellent, and the resort style atmosphere made me feel like I was on vacation rather than business. I had a view of the Caribbean from my window, and I heard virtually no noise from the nearby downtown area. It's the place to stay!
