Very old building. Has not been renovated for years.

Our room was very clean. The location was very quiet. Very good price for what we needed.

We stopped in Winnipeg for 1 night on a road trip, and saw this hotel had good reviews for the price. Although, the moment we got there, we immediately felt unsafe, and were worried about leaving our car overnight. The entire place smelled like cigarettes and fried foods very strongly. All of the carpets were covered in stains, as well as the beds, chairs, and bathroom. The inside of the toilet was stained black. We brought up our concerns with the staff hoping to get a partial refund as we did not feel safe spending the night there, but they refused saying we did not complain quickly enough. That was fine, as they were not obligated to provide a refund, but they could have been more professional in their response. I’m unsure how this hotel has good reviews considering the conditions of the place. I’m not usually picky about hotels but I cannot stress enough how disgusting the environment felt.

Pro’s - -Excellent very helpful staff -Very close to restaurants, 7-11 etc…. -Room and all facility areas were clean -Lots of parking (I had our company 5 Ton) -In a residential area rated top 3 safest in Winnipeg. Walkable.. - Close to perimeter highway. -Very good value , would definitely stay there again. Con’s -No elevator -Rooms are a bit dated but every bit as clean as the airport Sandman I normally stay at. -24 Minutes to the Airport area at 7:15 am. -Ask for 1st floor if you have any heavy luggage.

While dated, this hotel was very clean. There is a pride of ownership in this hotel. We enjoyed the convenience of nearby restaurants, grocery store, and liquor store. Definitely recommend this hotel as a place to stay.
