This lovely hotel is located 2 blocks from a city bus line. There are a variety of small restaurants nearby. There is even a karaoke bar-Bar Dam-that was a blast to sing at with locals. Overall, this was a fantastic place to stay and I would vacation here again.

It was a great property for a large group that expressed the unique culture of Kyoto. Nice local cuisine options in the area and is a decent area as a hub after a day's activities. The one caveat is that depending on your schedule it may be easier to cab rather than take the local buses nearby.

Sehr schön hergerichtetes traditionelles Haus. Mit einem schönen Garten. Etwas hellhörig und leider nur ein Satz Handtücher für eine komplette Woche, obwohl "mit Handtüchern ausgestattet" beschrieben ist. Alles in allem aber trotzdem eine tolle Unterkunft

Very beatiful and traditional place! Enjoyed our stay. Very little noise isolation.
