Do NOT let the advertised photo fool you. This was NOT the room we had. (I found out later that about five rooms have been upgraded - but hate crapshoots. Although the staff at the front desk were very kind, we will not be back. Our room smelled of cigarette smoke, and I was told the next day upon leaving that we were beside the ONE room in the hotel that allows smoking. Who knew we needed to ask to be away from said-room? Another crapshoot. The room was filthy. From the stains on the tub and the gross stains on the two chairs. Our bedding was not tucked in, the pillows were gross, and the comforter had a hole in it. We had to unplug the fridge in order to have an outlet. The microwave kept beeping (we hadn't used it at all and pressed cancel) so we had to unplug that. There was a full trash bin right on our parking spot in front of our room. (Put it in front of the area where one checks in!) We were so frustrated that we paid $150 for a room like this. Our prior night at a different hotel in Fredericton, NB, cost the same and it was FIVE STAR all the way. Surprisingly, the parking lot was full when we checked out at 6 (we couldn't wait to leave!) AS I told the person when I checked out, for all the money the owner is raking in per room, it's time for them to spend it on cleaning up these rooms. I would have preferred to sleep in my car... We do NOT recommend because the motel is in a rough area & they seem to have a bullet-proof window & small slot for after hours!!!!

The room was fairly cleaned, staffs working there are friendly, parking spaces are convincing and there are many groceries, restaurants near by to pick.

Nothing fancy about the place but appreciate the cleanliness of the room, helpfulness of the staff and close to nearby places. Good alternative to hotels/acxomodations within Montreal that are quite overpriced and rundown

Stayed two nights in a 2Q room. AC worked well even in a heat wave. Sink was outside of the bathroom, a huge plus. Fridge worked well, freezer section worked decently. TV had channels in English/French. Parking was limited. Would stay again for the price.

Great spot

It was tough to find an inexpensive motel/hotel in Montreal, especially one that offered free parking. We were familiar with the location of the motel from having lived in downtown Montreal for two years. The motel was what I expected a low cost motel to be like. It served our needs. One plus was the proximity to places to eat (A&W, Dunn's, Tim Horton's) all within walking distance. Also close to a supermarket (Maxi's).

The place could use a bit of TLC. But it was clean convenient and the staff was very nice and helpful. Will def stay again if ever need a quick stop to sleep in Montreal.

Excellent value. Clean, comfortable, and friendly. Plenty of secure parking. Downtown Montreal is a quite stress-free drive of 25 to 30 minutes.

We got the two double beds room at the top floor so not sure if this applies to all rooms, but it was relatively clean. Bathroom was renovated and modern styling. Bedroom is clean but you can certainly tell it's on top of "old bones". The front desk staff lady was super lovely I would come back just to be helped by her as well as the good price. No breakfast but have coffee/juice in the AM. Don't be shy to ask for help as the staff is very courteous. Parking is just outside ala motel like.

Very helpful staff and the room was clean and comfortable. Great location for access to shops. It costs $50.00 per pet per night, this is too high, many places charge half that rate.

Room furnishings are dated, but you get what you pay for. Adequate lodging conditions, appropriate for the price point. Neighborhood behind the motel seemed to be a little seedy.
