It was super cool. Parking, room, bed, bathroom, wifi and an excellent choice of food in the bar. Really enjoyed the stay. We were staying close to the stoneleigh show ground. Excellent choice. 100% will be back. The main man, the waiter, bar man, manager, host - Sumo. (Spelling not right I’m sure sorry. TOP BLOKE. Really welcoming and an excellent hotelier

Not bad for a 3 star, but could have been better. The kettle had more limscale than limscale itself. And had a stink in the room. Need bit of cleanliness. Or else, all good.

Good value for money, delicious sensibly priced meal in the restaurant. Staff were friendly. A little bit noisy by the road but that's to be expected.

Dirty hotel..noisy didn't get much sleep

Noisy, squeaking floorboards, outside and nextdoor, humming noise throughout the night. Bed was comfortable but not the pillows. Dated furniture, radiator not working in bathroom. Poor shower unit

Staff friendly. Breakfast additional cost but fine. Room was 'ok' booked the superior room but cracked raised tile to bathroom entrance, no heating on for first night so felt cold. Noisy even during the early hours of the morning.

Nice Clean and convenient with Parking, the bathroom as with most hotels needs a bit of attention.

Small and functional hotel, if a little tired. Ideal for what I needed. Breakfast was excellent and service from Pera was too.

I had an attic room, which could have been really cosy and comfortable. With a deep clean and a new mattress, this would be a lovely place to stay.

Room 110 reeked of smoke (curtains, carpets, blankets, pillows) making sleep impossible. The corridor outside the room provided a preview. After complaining I was moved to a different room that was much better. Both bathrooms were good though.

Very basic scruffy room, cracked tiles in bathroom, tepid water, a lot of noise from neighbouring rooms.

Room was clean, ground floor which was ideal for me.Breakfast was excellent plenty of.Staff are sometimes hard to find, but overall a nice place to stay.

Happy to have found this budget option with a short-notice booking for a memorial service nearby. + Friendly staff with excellent service + Open late and accommodating delayed arrival + Great breakfast with vegetarian options + Comfortable, if small, bed + Bus stop close, train station short walk away. IF public transport is working. + Seemed to be ample parking +/- Very small room, but adequate for a 2-star +/- Sad I did not arrive much earlier so I could not sample their restaurant, which had a great menu - Completely worn out and dirty-looking carpet - being replaced the week after I stayed. - Very cold room as bathroom window left open. Warmed up quickly from the space heater but the radiator was ineffective. - Freezing tiled bathroom -- Extremely thin walls and self-centred guests crashing around in the middle of the night upstairs. Woken at 5 am...

Kind of a Fawlty Towers vibe but not the drama. Just rather basic. And almost a one man band! The overall experience was fine but sadly the place is tired and room and bathroom lacked cleanliness. Restaurant food was nice and English breakfast was good. But stayed two nights and wouldn’t want same cuisine (Malaysian) twice.

Clean and convenient location. Room small and shower rather dribbly electric one. Guy next door snoring a lot. But warm and nice bed. Parking a bit tight as car park large but seemed to be full of tradesmen's vans as maybe renting out the space. Staff quite friendly and helpful. For the price, good value. Would not pay more than I did.

Friendly and easy check in, easy to find and park with a decent sized room for the price paid. Unfortunately the carpet in room 302 seemed to have not been vacuumed and wasn’t in particularly good or clean condition also there was what appeared to be a small amount of dried faeces on the toilet seat.

Nice and cozy. Good location and quiet place.

As I opened door to room, smelt cigarette smell and had to go up shop to get air freshener, no lock on door.Hotel needed a good clean stair rails need cleaning and door handles.Charged for things I didn’t have.Not be back.Shame could be a nice hotel.
