I saw 9.4 stars and read the reviews, but missed that it was a self check in lodge. I chose because of the high number..there was supposed to be a restaurant the Jeffrey Room but is was not there..closed. there was no cable tv...so could only use Netflix, etc. Of which I did not have passwords along. There was supposed to be air conditioning...there was but it was a portable one with warnings on the top that using it while having other things plugged in it could blow the breaker...which we were scared to do. There was some fans in the room that we used as it was very warm in the room. It was quiet though...

Didn’t make it cause of the hwy’s were closed. The unfortunate part was I stlll got charged 1 night because around golden the roads had opened up but from Banff they were still closed.

I would give this place easily a solid 10 out of 10 ! What a beautiful ski lodge to stay at right beside kicking horse resort . It’s also really nice that breakfast is included. The price was very reasonable for a ski lodge on resort . The whole experience was very enjoyable and we would stay again for sure.

Base de ski à distance de marche , station déjeuner qui est prête tôt le matin puisque remplie la veille . Petit sauna , endroit très calme pour dormir . Resto ouvert du mercredi au dimanche au premier plancher pour souper ce qui est pratique .

Great location with an easy access, short walk, to the hill. Comfortable well appointed room. A variety of snacks available 24/7 in the common room on the main floor - provides an option for a quick start in the morning too. Convenient boot/ski/snowboard locker on the main floor. Sauna was a bonus to enjoy after a day of fantastic skiing/snowboarding. Terrific restaurant downstairs - very short walk to get to from the front door.

Easy walk to the Iron Horse ski resort. Comfortable room with nice and sweet bathroom. Nice common area shared by guests. Convenient breakfast in the morning and snacks provided in the common area throughout the day. No other real amenities on property. Really best as a quiet hub for skiing or hiking/cycling.

It’s a lovely lodge and a great location and a concept. We’ve never experienced without staff on site. Their sauna was fabulous and the breakfast was pretty good. Comfortable quiet, a bit social and very clean.

Check in and out was seamless! The room was nice and clean, and spacious too. The self serve breakfast area was awesome! Lots of good options and they tasted great too (not very common in my experience).

Really lovely property and convenient self serve breakfast available. The open fire in the communal area was a nice touch. Beds were comfortable and the rooms quiet and super convenient to the resort base. Would stay here again.

Very smooth check in process and value for money. Crew reached out for valuables we left behind. Great gesture! We’ll be back for sure.

This place was great. Room was excellent and right across the street from the resort! Nice little coffee station, bagels, muffins etc. We’ll be back for sure!

Great location, cozy feel, convenient breakfast - ready for us when we left at 6:30 to line up for first tracks :)
