We chose the hottest days of the year to stay so the room was boiling, fortunately we took a fan with us but the owner also gave us another too. The room was perfectly adequate for our needs good shower but the toilet flush was slow, plenty of tea/coffee. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner. Easy breakfast idea in dining room lots of choice (but no cooked) we knew b4 so never worried us. I thought it was good value for the money more than happy. Big bonus there was parking and 10 min walk to town.

Great staff nice and clean

We stayed at Driftwood for two nights and had a very pleasant experience. The accommodation was comfortable, and the overall stay was enjoyable. The host was extremely friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. The breakfast was also very good and provided a great start to each day. We would happily recommend Driftwood to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Convenient location with free parking so was able to leave the car and walk to the beach, etc. Nice, friendly staff and clean comfortable room with ensuite bathroom which had just been refurbished.

While the host was very friendly, we were disappointed with the cleanliness of the shower, and felt that the floors could have been cleaner, over all it could have been cleaner, although the bedding and towels were nice fresh and clean. Breakfast was a disaster, mouldy bread, mouldy fruit in the fridge, things way past their use by/ best before dates

The room was clean, the bed was super comfy, plenty of tea, coffee etc. The owner Peter and his staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely stay again

Everything about this place was flawless!! The was spotless, the owner was a perfect gentleman and we had the best time I think possible!! It was my first time going to Weymouth and our stay was so perfect that I will never, EVER stay anywhere else, (this is not to say anywhere else is worse in any way, but that I loved the experience we had so much I want to keep having it every time we go to Weymouth)

Host was very welcoming and it was nice to have off road parking (if a little tight). Location was ideal for Weymouth front and centre. The room door was very flimsy and didn't feel secure. The room was clean but tired. There is a room with a toilet and shower but the sink was in the main room. Water was leaking from somewhere onto the bathroom floor. The bed was fine and whilst the room in our opinion was tired you could see the owners were trying hard. We didn't use the breakfast but it was lovely that this was available f.o.c.

Had another great stay at The Driftwood. Great location, with on site parking. Help yourself breakfast ,with a variety of breads ,juices ,fruit and cereals .Really welcoming and relaxed makes for a great stay .Will definitely stay again ,and are already planning a next stay.

Friendly host and very good value. Room was clean and the self-service breakfast facilities were very welcome.

Clean and today , very welcoming. I especially liked the self service breakfast, all things available so you could attend at your own pace. Five minute walk to the sea front/ town centre just what we needed.
