A lovely family hotel. The breakfast was great with homemade jams. Staff very helpful and friendly. We can thoroughly recommend staying here.

Great decor, wonderful owners who were extremely helpful and also of great cheer. Great location and wonderfully maintained, especially considering that it was new in the 1400's. The room was clean, neat and actually had sheets and a blanket rather than the usual smothering comforter that pins one to the mattress that is ever present in Europe.

Seriously wonderful. Clean, inviting, and helpful staff. While it doesn't have all the frills and amenities of a resort, this is easy to recommend in a town like chinon. Charming and simply delightful.

Le site est très joli. Dépaysement total. Petit déjeuner très frais. Excellentes confitures, pain et brioches toutefois il serait sympa d’avoir des œufs pour les gens qui ne peuvent manger trop de sucre. Fromage de chèvre très bon mais l’offre pourrait être un peu plus large.

A small but very nice and clean room. The shower was perfect as well as the firm bed, and the French country design of the room was charming.

Först fick vi ett sunkigt rum, mennaedan kom de tillbaka och ursäktade sig och gav oss ett mycket bättre rum.

Nice historic hotel but with a bit of a cold reception and checkout.

Nette Begrüßung, lauschige Plätze im Garten, authentische Einrichtung, schönes Zimmer, bequeme Betten, etwas hellhörig, gutes Frühstück aus lokalen Produkten ohne unnötig breite Vielfalt.

Very quaint and secluded, but near the town center. It’s a very pleasant led property with a long history.

Hôtel calme mais un peu vieillot. Parking privé fermé à 20 h c’est un peu dommage de ne pas avoir d’accès. Petit déjeuner correct mais un peu cher par rapport à ce qui est proposé.

Une fois que l’on sait qu’il n’y a ni Clim, ni restaurant ni ascenseur il, on donne à cet hôtel la note maximale — disons 9,9 p, parce que 10/10 est du domaine de la métaphysique . Charmé, bar très sympa avec quelques snacks appréciés, un personnel d’exception, un parking protégé, au RdC un jardin fleuri charmant et des chambres incroyablement accueillantes. On rêve de revenir un jour! Merci!
