Wickham square is a short drive (5mins) from hotel with a selection of shops, pubs and coffee shops.

Staff were all charming without exception Room was warm and welcoming. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was fabulous. Would not hesitate to recommend

Very pleasant staff, lovely room, affordable.

1 night stay for work. Was in room 119 (single bed). Ensuite was useable (small), bed comfotable, good sized cup for tea/coffee in room, decaf provided as requested. No food in evening but pub (Samuels Rest) was nearby. I did not have breakfast (lots of other reviews rave about it) so cannot provide comment on it.

The staff from the time I arrived until I left were absolutely first class. Friendly, helpful and very welcoming. My room was impeccably clean, well decorated and light and airy. Breakfast is ordered on arrival or in the evening. The cooked breakfast was delicious, extremely well cooked and served by attentive and friendly staff. There is also a well stocked breakfast buffet table with a range of fruit juice, cereals, yoghurt and fresh fruits. Make your own toast. Tea and coffee is served, which is a nice change from thermos pots. The car park is quite large to the side/ rear of the building. There is an option for express online check in and check out. In all I can heartily recommend this property and the team there.

The hospitality was fantastic. The staff couldn’t do enough to ensure we had a lovely stay. The rooms were spotless with fluffy white towels in the bathroom. Breakfast was cooked perfectly and very tasty. Plenty of safe parking. I would strongly recommend this hotel.

Suggestions : Bathroom : no blinds in the ground floor bath room, overlooking the car park ! It would be useful to have a desk in the room Bathroom light : it would be convenient to be able to switch the light off

The staff were absolutely lovely, accommodating in every way. The room was comfortable and spotless and both evening meal and breakfast were delicious. We look forward to staying again.

The Breakfast

Clean room, and very attentive staff. The gentleman offered to bring tea to our room and also gave us a bottle of water on our return late at night. Nice touches. Thanks for a great stay.

Lovely place to stay

Room was quiet, clean, comfy & warm. Had a great night's sleep. Reception staff were helpful & friendly both on arrival and prior to my stay. Would definitely stay again.

I stayed here for 4 nights. The staff are so welcoming, freindly, helpful and caring. They made me feel part of the family and as I was a female travelling alone and miles from home I considered myself to be very privileged. It was a very humble experience. 6 stars to CJ and Nick for the service and welcome they provided. Paul and Bryanna 5 stars. The breakfast was really yummy and probably the hottest breakfast I have ever had. I would definitely stay here again if I ever was in the area. My bathroom was very tired and definately needs attending to. I stayed in room 2 which was very quite. The bed was comfortable. Plenty of free parking. Tv was inoperable. Excuse was the signal. Rubbish. After 16 hours on the road I expect to be able to relax, watch news etc.
