The staff were absolutely amazing and the area is lovely. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again… unless it’s summer. Our room was on the top floor - it’s also worth noting that anyone who struggles with stairs would not be able to stay at this hotel unless there is ground floor rooms - the stairs are extremely steep and narrow so you have to walk sideways. The room advertises a fan which was partially why we booked but although a good one was provided, it did little to help. The heat rose through the property and the floor was hot to touch, as were the walls. It was very literally a sweat box. I know this is not usual weather, but I feel it is relevant to let others know that you will not be comfortable at all if it’s hot outside. Other than installing air con, there’s not much the hotel can do, but we ended up having showers throughout the night just to be able to breathe and at one point in the early hours we had to sit in the car to cool down.

Room was nice and clean, mattress needs exchanging. Staff were excellent and friendly. Even the new lad training was great and his mentor.

Different from advertised. We had no idea how small the room would be. There wasn’t enough room to move around the bed easily. The bathroom was surface clean but dirty when you looked closer. The outside terrace floor was unsafe to walk on with gaps beneath the fake grass which felt unsupported. There was no food. It was very loud. Staff disappeared sometime in the evening and did not reappear before we left. The bed was small and we could not get comfortable. We would have left if there had been somewhere else available nearby. The “long life” milk had reached the end of its life. The check in lady was pleasant but we never saw her again. I would rather drive 2 hours home than stay here again.

The room was quite small but very clean and well decorated. Shower was good and spacious. All in all good value.

Its a venue hotel , busy and noisy on Saturday nights til midnight. However the room had about 10 sockets. Bathroom was modern apart from dirty extractor fan. Staff were lovely, pub opposite looks neglected but great friendly crowd and staff , woluld stay again , not on a weekend though.

Good base for just a bed. A few eateries and a pub to hand. Bit of a contractors hotel Clean and functional.

My difficulty were all mine own really having a walking and standing problem so distance carrying case and bits the length of the building back and front and the width was a bit of a struggle. No meals were on site so cannot comment, what staff there was were very helpful.

Ideal work stay place. Staff pleasant. Rooms adequate sized. Not all rooms have USB so worth packing a plug
