It's a stretch to give this place 3 stars. We knew this place was not going to be anything great but it was a little worse than we thought (hoped) it would be. I'm glad we didn't pay much. It was a little rundown but maybe that's the way the hotels in this area are? There wasn't much to choose from, and we chose it because it was close to Enterprise (so we could walk to the hotel after returning our car) and close to the train station. We didn't get to try the breakfast because we needed to leave shortly after it started at 7am and it was served at the restaurant next door - not convenient for us. The fan provided in the room was very dusty - we tried cleaning it off and that did not work. Not functional. Good thing we brought portable fans! The most ridiculous thing was the separate hot and cold water spigots for the sink - your water was either super cold or scalding hot - you couldn't have both at the same time. Not functional. There was no shampoo and the soap was hand soap/body wash, same as the stuff to wash your hands...which ran out. Glad we brought our own.

we stayed here on the 17th July - room was adequate however we discovered on the morning we couldnt have a bath or shower as the hot water would not run ie the tap was broken , we told the reception and they said they would refund us some money . This hasnt happened to i am very disapointed in the fact we couldnt freshen up and paid far in exxcess of what we should have really

We had a comfortable stay. Although the room was large, it is dated. The room was clean, comfortable, and well suited to our short stay. This is a straightforward, no-frills property with the essential amenities, and it met our expectations. Breakfast was a highlight, with a good continental buffet as well as freshly cooked hot breakfast options available to order, providing a great start to the day. The restaurant is separate to the hotel, across the road. They serve very good food. We had some classic meals in the evening. For international travellers, it's worth noting that air conditioning is not a standard feature in many UK hotels, so it's worth checking before booking if this is important to you. A fan was provided for warmer weather but it was still very hot. The window didn't open far enough to let airdlow. Note that bar fridges are not commonly included in UK hotel rooms, so it's best not to expect one. Overall, we felt the property offered good value for money.

Room was awful, every single floorboard creaked when walking waking my son up when ever I went to the toilet, toilet did not flush correctly.

Shower in our room was in need of some maintenance. Room very warm, with not much in way of ventilation.

Rooms could do with renovation, old Premier in style still. Comfy beds rho and relatively quiet

Nice place but the shower was awful. A mist of water not a stream - absolutely wouldn’t stay again because the shower was so bad

Lovely rooms, great pub / restaurant next door. Free parking. Town centre is just a short walk away as well.

It was an older hotel we had to step into the tub to take a shower and us bring a little older it was quite nerve wracking. Great location close to town.

The room had no wall sockets anywhere near the beds, the only wall sockets were over beside the tv and the kettle both of which you had to unplug to charge phones etc

Staff were lovely, very helpful. Room was basic but clean, and even had a fan which was ideal for the weather while there being hot. Breakfast was great and beer garden was perfect too. Would definitely come back. Thank you

Hotel is very tired and in need of some serious modernisation - the bathroom particularly - the shower pressure was low and the temperature was hot, or hot. not great for £90 a night
