It's such a shame because the Rose Cottage is in a great location but it was very tired and could do with a proper up grade. Cobwebs everywhere which I didn't mind but when I went to use cutlery, saucepans, glass jar they were dirty and I had to clean them. There's no dishwasher so maybe the previous people that stayed didn't know how to wash up by hand and the cleaner didn't check. Also the fridge wasn't turned on and took a long time to get cold meaning no cold beers with our dinner. I messaged to ask for check in details 2 hrs prior to my stay and had no reply. I turned up and had to ring to get the key code. No welcome letter or note. Very disappointing. Needs a bit of TLC and managed better.
