What a beautiful charming B&B. Located in the Idyllic village of Near Sawrey, I chose this place for it's charm, the price and location. Ann and Stephen, the host's couldn't be more helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice. Beds are comfortable, lovely rooms. Tea and coffee available. Towels, complimentary washing items from local company. I loved it and throughly recommend it.

Truly an amazing place to stay, we felt at home immediately. Ann & Steve were incredible in their accommodations, friendliness, and overall selves: you can tell they've done this for a long time & enjoy it. Stay here if you're touring the Lake District, you won't regret it. We had dinner at one of the places recommended on the website, too, and it was excellent.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Anne and Steve at Belle Green. A beautiful whitewashed old farmhouse which has been tastefully decorated inside. Our room was comfortable and clean, though the mattress was a little hard for us, and the bathroom was quite large and immaculately clean. Loved the complimentary toiletries and was glad to see they were refillable. The homemade shortbread buiscuits were yummy and it was lovely to have fresh milk for our cups of tea. We were made to feel very welcome, including our dog who stayed for free. Had a wonderful, fresh cooked breakfast every morning which set us up perfectly for a nice long walk in the stunning, surrounding countryside. Would definitely recommend and would certainly stay again. We recommend that you make dinner reservations at the local pub prior to arriving as they are very popular but small. Hawkshead is also good for evening eateries with a few places taking walk ins.

This B&B is amazing. So friendly and the fresh pot of tea when we arrived was very welcome. The log fire burning away in the guest sitting room made everything so cosy. You could not have asked from the room - all the little details thought about, including fresh milk for cups of tea. Really good sized room with en-suite and finally a B&B with a decent hot shower! The breakfast - fantastic! cooked to perfection with variety (not stingy at all). Fresh fruit and yogurt on offer, with cereal if you wanted. As much toast as you might want. Lots of fresh juice and large pots of tea! We will definitely be staying again.
