Wondeful stay

Beautifully thought out self contained accommodation. Well equipped with nice little extras. Room was immaculate, beautifully decorated, warm and very quiet. On site parking. Easy self check-in system. Good communication with Owner.

Clean very convenient to dining pub

Very modern, clean room, perfect for my 1-night business trip. No restaurant or breakfast available but close to town. Staff excellent and helped address a booking error on my part, without charge. Would stay again if in the area.

High quality finish and very clean and comfortable. No restaurant or breakfast facilities. Some road noise first thing in the morning but otherwise ok. Perfect for what I needed.

Beautiful place, the rooms are really cosy and really well done out. A welcome text is provided the morning of arrival to tell you how to get your key etc and where your room is. Host also on hand if you need anything Best night sleep I've had in a long time, honestly wish I could stay longer. king size bed, big fluffy duvet and pillows. Kitchenette comes stocked with plates, bowls and cutlery along with a fridge and tea/ coffee . In a very quiet location but if you don't want to leave the hotel, Just Eat delivers everything from McDonald's to Costa Coffee and groceries. Will definitely be coming back again.

The property was very clean and well proportioned with a large clean bathroom. We were on the ground floor and could hear the guests upbove us talking and walking about which was annoying. A fan was supplied but the room was very warm through the night. I would recommend Chequers Lodge but would suggest requesting a room on the first floor.
