Rooms are small, but fair. No A/C. That was a minus. Super clean, great staff, great location, good food and breakfast, I will go again.

I chose this hotel because I was visiting Basel for a business trip to Messe Basel. The facilities are very clean, and in particular, the elevator made it very easy to move my luggage. In the lobby, there is a lounge with a view of the Rhine River, which makes it a great place to work. There is also a café and bar, so it is especially nice to work while enjoying a coffee. Smoking is allowed, and the location is excellent: it is only a 1-minute walk to the Rhine riverside and a 1-minute walk to the tram station, making it very convenient to get around Basel. In particular, Coop, Lidl, and MANOR are all located within a 2-minute walk, so the hotel is truly in the best location. The bed is comfortable, and the bedding is especially well maintained. The bathroom is clean, and the water pressure is also good. I would definitely stay here again the next time I visit Basel. The front desk staff are especially kind and welcoming. It was an honor to be the first Korean guest to stay at this hotel, and I would like to express my sincere respect and appreciation for the kindness of the front desk staff. If you need water, you can ask at the front desk and choose between still water and sparkling water, so don’t be surprised if there is no refrigerator in the room. :) Thank you very much for your kindness throughout my stay. Dirty. No air conditioning. Super loud construction on the hotel. Bad restaurant. Overall bad !
