Pas de climatisation. Nuit à 30 degrés

Pas de climatisation en période de canicule. Des climatiseurs portatifs qui sont en réalité des ventilateurs mis à disposition. Et l’agent d’accueil qui entre dans la chambre sans toquer pour déposer des pains de glaces en étant au téléphone. Très limite heureusement que j’étais habillée. Pas d’eau et de frigo à dispo en cette période de forte canicule.

A lovely well appointed room in a pretty town near Giverny. We were sad to only have a short night there so we couldn’t try the spa or restaurant.

There was no air-conditioning in our room. I booked the hotel based on the understanding there was air-conditioning. The desk clerk said there was only air-conditioning on the third floor which was sold out. The staff did provide a fan and lots of free water. Other than the heat, the hotel was fine.

Bien situé, bon petit déjeuner. Pas de clim. Resto moyen.

beautiful hotel in Normandie, very modern and great restaurant too!

Nous avons passé une nuit dans cet hôtel. Très bon accueil. Chambre propre et confortable. Au calme. Proche du centre.

Das Normandy ist ein in die Jahre gekommendes Hotel, das sicher schon bessere Tage erlebt hat. Es war ok, sauber, aber allenfalls durchschnittlich und den hohen Zimmerpreis nicht wert. Die Lage ist erstklassig. Das Parken war günstig.

A great spot in a charming town in France. The staff was helpful and friendly, the rooms were clean. My only negative was that it was a heat wave in France during my trip and while there was a fan in the room, there was no Air Conditioning, so it was very hot.

Excellent at all levels. We would certainly come here again if back in the area.

A perfectly OK hotel in a lovely town. We were travelling around in a convertible car with a soft top so we were attracted by the on-site secure parking; but it was unavailable owing to a faulty door which was under repair. It didn't matter too much as public parking was available in an adjacent car park - but it might have done! The only material criticism, unrelated to the accommodation but worth a mention, is the restaurant; we ate there and it was poor. Lacking flavour, tiny portions, and pricey.

If a person is visiting Giverny and the Monet site, this is a great small hotel 15 minutes from the site, at excellent value. Underground parking is available. The town of Vernon has many options for dining at reasonable prices.

Good location, staff helpful and room very clean and spacious. Underground carpark a bit if a challenge but overall, a good stay and would highly recommend.
