The staircase and entrance were filthy but the room itself was clean. There was NO toilet paper whatsoever and only I small shower towel and 1 hand towel for 2 people. The bed was extremely soft. The welcome tray was suitably stocked. There was no one on reception to ask for toilet paper.

Running fights in the corridors between residents, one of whom was extremely angry and shouting at the top of their lungs. Loud music was being pumped out through the paper-thin walls, allowing the entire hotel to hear it. On top of that, doors were being slammed for what felt like. Too long; didn't read: this is a rough, tired old hotel and probably the worst night's sleep I've had in decades. I couldn't wait to leave the Central Hotel

I didn't know how this property had so many wonderful reviews over the years. I was told the hotel was a lovely place but was since sold. If you see any photos of breakfasts - they don't exist. I would not choose to stay in this property again.

It was very convenient for the night.

Worst stay I have ever had and I’m not Picky. Slept on top of bed covers. Used a hoody over the pillow which smelt stale. The bedding looked tidy till I got in and smelt like someone else needed a wash. I should have left when I entered the room and it smelt like a Smokers room. Really disappointed with it. Slept really badly.

The room was very clean And quite spotless. The bed was serviceable pillows slightly hard. The décor wasn't to my taste. The desk was slightly unstable. A small Gap in the wood flooring. The shower but leaked everywhere. Room was quite cold despite heating Good stuff, experience and great location for layover needs.

Small but clean room and en suite shower room. Was a little noisy from the main road with the window open but fine at night when closed. The charging sockets were useful and the host was really helpful, letting me borrow a hairdryer. Parking was easy around the back of the property and access was convenient through the side entrance. Perfect for my needs this weekend and good value.

Very good value for money. Property has all basic needs for an overnight stay and was quiet with convenient parking. Shops and pubs etc all within wslking distance. Close to motorways. Very friendly staff.

Quite a small room with tiny bathroom. Shower is either cold or very hot with mixing didn’t work.

The staff was lovely and polite. I had some problem in opening the window ,as the air in the room was unbreathable,but then I succeeded and I slept all night with the open window to freshen up the air in the room.

Amazing value for money, room had everything you needed, although a little outdated it did the job but the shower was either red hot or freezing cold no matter what setting we had it on and the shower curtain could have been cleaner... Apart from the shower they are great little rooms, TV even has Netflix etc. Even though we were on a main road it was pretty quiet as we were in the carpark area which is set back from the road

Inexpensive, clean, tidy and quiet with on site parking. I was pleasantly surprised.
