Most remarkable experience I've ever had. Everything down to service was A+. Hotel was recommended to me and I am not regretting.

Very good and quiet.

The Royal Hotel is an excellent place to stay in Georgetown. The restaurant on site serves hot breakfast that includes chicken sausages, and items to make a cheese taco. There's lomein, a variety of fruits and vegetables for a picky eater. The room is clean, bed is firm and comfortable. I will continue to stay at this place as long as the standards are kept high

I LOVED THIS HOTEL ! VERY AND BIG AND CLEAN . MY ONLY ISSUES WERE I DIDNT LIKE THE TOILET IN THE SHOWER ! NOT ALL ROOM ARE LIKE THAT BUT I RECOMMEND LEAVING A RUBBER STICK IN THE ROOM TO DRY THE TUB FLOOR AFTER SHOWERS. ANOTHER PROBLEM NOONE REALLY SPOKE ENGLISH. OTHER THAN THAT IT WAS SO MANY THNGS TO DO YOU DONT EVEN HAVE TO LEAVE THE HOTEL ,MALL, CASINO ,LOUNGE SUPERMARKET ,FOOD COURT ,ARCADE FOR KIDS, GYM RESTAURANTS VERY IMPRESSIVE!!

Love the aesthetics. Breakfast was amazing pretty diverse. The staff although their Chinese the English was very understandable I had a great stay

Overall the hotel is a good one, but I was surprised to hear the chief desk clerk say that she cannot give me any water because guests are limited to 2 "waters" per day, even though there was no water in the kettle of water set aside for the guests. It seemed somewhat stingy, and not in keeping with the perceived quality of the hotel.

Room was clean and update. Staff very friendly and helpful. Staff tried to meet all needs as possible.There was always someone on the floor to ensure all is well. Great customer service! Breakfast, a wide variety..continental, Chinese and Caribbean/Guyanese dishes. There was one slight problem Sunday morning breakfast overcrowded (06/21/2026), some guests staying at hotel was locked out from breakfast area although paid in hotel charges for daily breakfast. I think management need to fix this issue and make some arrangements/plan that their guests have the availability to daily Breakfast which comes along with their stay. Other than that issue, I think cleanliness, hospitality, location and meals are great! Looking forward to staying here again.

Excellent hotel. The only issue I had, which has nothing to do with the hotel, is the smell of stagnant water. This sent is common in Georgetown - may have something to do with the poor drainage. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I recommend to my friend and she had an amazing time.

Everything was excellent. However there should be more staff who speak english or the existing staff should have a good command of the english language

Clean nice room and spacious. Only cons would be the hallway smells like cigarettes. I saw some workers smoking on the hallway

The hotel is perfectly situated with restaurants and supermarkets in close proximity. The hotel also have a nice restaurant that gives a buffet breakfast consisting of a wide variety of food. Overall my stay was great and I will go again and again

I recently stayed at the Royal International Hotel in Georgetown. Overall, the stay was acceptable, but there were several issues that future guests should be aware of. The hotel itself is modern and is attached to a mall with restaurants, shops, a casino, and a gym, which is very convenient. Most of the staff I encountered were polite and tried to be helpful. However, communication was often difficult because many staff members spoke little or no English. This included some front-line employees and housekeeping staff. While everyone was generally courteous, language barriers sometimes made simple requests challenging. My biggest concern was with the taxi service operating outside the hotel. Drivers frequently approached guests as soon as they exited the building. One driver, identified as Steve, quoted prices that were significantly higher than standard local rates. For example, I was quoted around 20,000 GYD for an airport trip that normally costs closer to 10,000 GYD. I also had an unpleasant verbal confrontation with this driver. The hotel should do more to ensure guests are not pressured or overcharged by transportation providers associated with or operating near the property. Another issue was cleanliness around parts of the property. There was dog waste on the walkway leading to the gym, which should be addressed more promptly.
