Room very comfortable staff excellent could not do enough for us .good all round hotel

Centrally situated near to all amenities. My single room was basic but comfortable enough, spotlessly cleaned every day and quiet. Breakfast (included) was plentiful and well cooked and presented. I recommend that you check the hot water on entry as when I checked in I wsinceas very tired after my journey and piled into bed. In the morning I found I had no hot water in sink or shower and went to reception to complain. No problem says the girl, I'll be up in 5 minutes to switch it on. Maybe the Guy who checked me in didn't think I looked like I used hot water, just saying. The view from my window looking over the green would have been lovely had it not been for the fact that the windows to have not been cleaned since the building was built.

The kitchen closed at 8.40 so had to find somewhere else to eat. Shower had a dribble of cold water only. Paint peeling off walls in the bedroom. I asked for a partial refund as the shower not working which was flatly denied. Whole place was in very poor condition. I’d never stay there again or recommend it to anyone.

Felt sorry for the staff who could only apologise for the condition of hotel. Bed not comfortable Staff tried, but alas hotel is in dire need of investment and a bit of TLC.

Need to improve the hot water, looks as if the outside needs to be painted witch would make the kerb appeal better to the eye

Room clean the staff have done there job however the room is dated, TV had no signal the hot water was cold on arrival content noise from extractor from kitchen, flooring squeaks in the room, shower didn't stay in holder, food at evening not the best chips over cooked staff were very good but the hotel is dated

Well located hotel for golf at Silloth. The properties decor is a bit tired and in need of some maintenance. The days we stayed there was only one young member of staff on and she had to look after arrivals, bar work and serving of food. Naturally it was a very slow and frustrating evening for customers as she was run off her feet. How she kept a smiling face I do not know. Some of us even asked if we could help her serve behind the bar to relieve the backlog. She politely refused our offers as not allowed. The manager should be ashamed!

Parking on street but plenty of it. Breakfast was decent and the room itself was large and comfortable. Main problem was a lack of hot water so I had to endure a rather cold shower.

There is no onsite parking however there was plenty of street parking. The staff who we interacted with were brilliant and the food and breakfast was fantastic. The room was a great size but for a deluxe it lacked a decent size TV it was a 4 poster style bed but the TV was about 18” absolutely tiny for the size of room plus the post of the bed went right dont the middle of the TV from the view point from one side of the bed. The windows are only single pane glass and when the trucks drive past to the port early hours of the morning the bed felt like it shakes so didn’t sleep great all things we would be happy to forget about but come morning we couldn’t even take a shower as there wasn’t enough water so couldn’t even complete one shower between the 2 of us so that spoilt out whole experience

Absolutely no water from the shower or sink. Nobody on reception to report it. I want my money back.

Clean with a great breakfast along with free parking outside.

Room was ok. Smelt a little foisty on first arrival. Breakfast is served from 0730 i was leaving at 7 and was told bacon sandwich would be made up for me. This didnt happen as the chef didnt come in until after 7am. Food here is good, Rosie who seemed to be doing serving, bar, clearing tables and reception is a credit to you.

Nice location, ample free parking. Great place to stay.
