Super neat and comfortable, would 100% stay here again

Absolutely beautiful place in a beautiful area. Amazing price. Such friendly staff in the pub. Had such a wonderful stay and can't thank you enough.

A very good budget place to stay. Bed was so comfortable it was one of my best nights sleep on my vacation. Ample parking. Walls are a little thin if you are staying close to the bar.

Small but very clean room. Bathroom was also very clean. The bar downstairs was a nice touch and was not overly loud late into the night.

The property is old, but everything is clean. People run into bar were very friendly, and the people who came to the bar were very friendly.

Clean and friendly with plenty of parking. Be sure you know the Hotel faces an intersection that can be little noisy and rooms have a shared bathroom & shower down the hall.

Points positifs : lit confortable - salle de bain neuve - pas cher- cuisine à dispo Points négatifs : -Nous avions la chambre au rez-de-chaussée qui donne directement sur la rue principale. C’était extrêmement bruyant et la porte n’est pas isolante. - Les rideaux ne sont pas occultants - pas de prises autour du lit - la penderie beaucoup trop haute (pourtant je fais 1,70m) et aucun portemanteau, pourtant y avait largement la place - dans la douche, le robinet était beaucoup trop haut, très difficile d’accès et le flexible était beaucoup trop court - la cuisine c’est super, on peut cuisiner, mais on ne peut pas du tout s’asseoir pour manger. Donc on est obligé de chauffer son plat dans la cuisine et d’aller manger dans sa chambre, il n’y a pas de table pour manger non plus

A very easy walk from Leuchars station and right near the bus station to go to St Andrews. Great value for the price and right in the center of town near restuarants, a medieval church, and places for nice evening walks. My partner and I stayed 2 nights without a car and found it very easy to get around. Everything was clean and the staff were wonderful.

Room freezing

Room was ok, however I couldn’t sleep properly as the bar door was loud and I could hear the constant bang if someone is to come inside or go out for a smoke, could hear talking and smell Cigarette from inside. The shower panel was up high as well. No cups and kettle just to have a cuppa as it was a very cold night.

Its a Pub with rooms and pretty basic but ok for the price. Good parking but not many dining options close by.

Excellent staff, very clean & spacious room & ample free parking. The beds are fantastic with good quality bedding. Good value & very cheap for that area. The only cons were that it is an old building & as a result, it was draughty & the heating wasn't on. No socket near the mirror making hair & make-up a guessing game. A desk & chair would be good to have for this too. I felt it is a work in progress & they'll get there! Overall a great value for the area

This is a pub, not a hotel.

Affordable, well situated hotel only a quick bus ride away from St Andrews. The staff and bar men were hospitable and friendly.

Good 2 star accommodation for price. Some of the areas could use a bit of restoration/refurbishment but it is the Ye Olde Hotel! About a 15 minute drive from city centre St Andrews

The room was great, very large. Bathroom was also very spacious. It was perfect for our 1 night stay with St Andrew’s just a few minutes down the road. The room was clean and incredibly comfortable, only complaint is the beds were in front of the windows so we couldn’t open them.

Great location , we were at a wedding at The Rhynd and this was perfect location. Staff were super friendly and accommodating - allowing us to use the room hours before check in time. Bedroom and bathroom spotlessly clean. Thank you

For the money its good value. A little noisy early on but goes quite later at night with the traffic.
