Estaba horrible horrible me encontre hasta una toalla usada detras de la puerta, tengo dudas si cambiaron las sabanas, el baño publico ponia no disponible y lo abrimos y nos encontramos que era un trastero, nos cogio tanto asco que dejamos perder el desayuno. Estaba muy sucio tanto lo comun como habitaciones. Las toallas estaban amarillentas de viejas que eran. Muy muy mal

Room was clean, bathroom freshly painted, but patchy. Shower drain was blocked. Breakfast served late, so we left at 7am with just few pastries packed in paper bags. No coffee, no juice. There's nothing to do around or look at. The new build village was constructed recently around. There's COOP store which saved us, as there's no dinner at the hotel.

Not easy to find. A larger sign would help. Plenty car parking. Rooms just a little tired. Staff very helpful.

The staff keep this place alive. The front desk man was the best thing about this hotel. This hotel needs lots of tlc inside and out, run down outside, dirty broken pinic tables, needs yard work weeds, old worn carpet at the front door. The grass is overgrown near the front door you can see junk piled up thru glass doors, beds leaning against the glass. Sad really for the pric. The inside is better however dated and needs lots of help better painting in the rooms, holes in the walls fixed but poorly. Taps are old hot water and cold water separate taps. Beds are two smal only a double that they call a king. The place could be so much better cause it has a great location near bus stops only 20 minutes to downtown Edinburgh. The owners need to work on getting this hotel in better shape. Without the front desk guy this place would not see much business.

The hotel its a bit dated but the staff its great, welcoming and friendly. I couldnt have breakfast but the receptionist packed a bag for me. Super kind. The room was clean, with a big window so it was very pleasant in the morning. Bathroom was clean and overall a good size. The location its also great and easy transport to the city centre. I feel safe. I will come back again.

I had a pleasant one-night stay at The Abbey Residence in Edinburgh. The hospitality was great, the place felt safe and secure, and the breakfast, which is included in the room's price, was surprisingly good too. Overall, a comfortable stay and I’d definitely recommend it.

The staff was ultra polite and caring. He even made sure we have lactose free milk for breakfast on our second morning after we told him that my husband is lactose-intolerant. The rooms were clean. There were spaces for free parking right in front of the property. The bus stop for the double decked busses 3 and 29 taking us to the center is super close and the bus ride is through some nice districts. I recommend.👍

Dès notre arrivée, un accueil chaleureux avec un personnel aux petits soins. Une chambre sympa mais qui manque d’équipement. Des lignes de bus dans un rayon proche. Beaucoup de bienveillance pour qu’on puisse se sentir « comme à la maison » : par exemple, le matin de notre arrivée, nous avons pu laisser nos bagages avant le Check-in pour profiter pleinement de nos visites. Un petit déjeuner à emporter nous a été fourni lorsque nous avons fait une longue sortie dans les Highlands, en dehors des créneaux prévus. Hébergement convivial et personnel très prévenant.

It was a very nice place to stay, the staff was wonderful and vary caring about customers necessities. Breakfast was really good, has it's own free parking lot and generally speaking, very well!

Bedroom was OK but the bathroom was not. It was poorly lit and dingy, with no shelves, nothing to hang towels on, no plug in the sink and the toilet paper holder was hanging on for dear life. Generally shabby looking.

breakfast was poor.. cold toast no much other. loads of parking staff was good he only could use the resources he had at his disposal. clean itself was clean

A bit of remedial work required to bring the accommodation up to scratch. Basic but clean enough
