This Riad is perfect. Pilar and her team have everything covered. They helped with tour suggestions, airport pick-up and went way above and beyond to help me celebrate my wife’s birthday. We had a wonderful stay—truly incredible hospitality and such a pleasant experience from start to finish. Breakfast was delicious, and we especially loved having breakfast on the beautiful terrace. Ashraf and Pilar (the owner) were so kind and went out of their way to help us when we were in a bind, even communicating with us via WhatsApp. We had to leave for the airport at 4:30 AM, and they had everything arranged seamlessly, including help with our luggage and checkout. I would absolutely stay here again.

What an excellent hidden gem!! I loved the resident dog, the staff were extremely helpful, and the decor is gorgeous. It's lovely and tucked away like an oasis from the chaos of the souk (which I also loved :-) )

Hermoso Riad en la populosa Medina

Our stay at the hotel was truly amazing. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with warm smiles and genuine kindness. They offered us a place to wash our hands and served us traditional Marrakech tea with cookies, which was such a lovely touch. Everyone was friendly and always ready to help. The hotel itself is clean, quiet, and beautifully maintained. Our room was very comfortable, and housekeeping did a great job cleaning it every day. Breakfast was served with a beautiful view—far beyond what we expected—and everything was delicious. The location is also perfect, making it easy to get around. One more thing—ll was so cute and added such a lovely, homely feeling to our stay! My sister and I really enjoyed our stay. We originally wished we could stay for 10 days, but unfortunately, we could only stay for a shorter time. Still, it was such a wonderful experience. I honestly don’t have enough words to describe how great it was. I would definitely come back again and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Marrakech. Everything about this riad is wonderful! The host and staff is so welcoming you feel at home. It is clean, the rooms are very cosy and nice, breakfast is perfect. We had a day in Marrakesh and the host created us a map with points of interest to visit. You will not regret your decision!

This place is an amazing find in Marrakesh. Very close to everything. I just literally walked to the souks and the Jardin de Majorelle. It is very clean relaxing environment, I couldn’t ask for more. Felt like home away from home. The staff were amazing! Shoutout to Pilar and her team Ashraf, Fatima and Laila!

Excellent Riad Great staff Awesome connection and network

This riad in the old city is absolutely beautiful, offering a peaceful escape from the bustling energy of Marrakech. The owner went out of their way to contact me from the US, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. The property itself was stylish and authentic, making for a truly magical experience. Located right in the heart of Medina (the old town), it’s just a 20-minute walk to Jena’s el-Fnaa, and only a 6-minute walk to College Mohammad V which is a convenient pickup spot for tours and excursions. The Riad staff were very friendly and helpful, and the daily breakfasts were delicious. I highly recommend booking your airport transportation through the Riad; they make the process easy and provide someone to help you with your luggage and guide you to the riad. The streets can be a bit confusing and overwhelming to navigate on your own, so I would definitely recommend this gorgeous property and will definitely be returning in the future.

Wonderful stay at Free People Riad & Spa. The riad is beautiful, elegant, and full of character, while still feeling intimate and cosy. The staff were all incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful, always happy to assist with taxis or anything else we needed. It is tucked away in a quiet alley at the top of the medina, but still just a short walk to the markets and main square. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Marrakesh.

This Riad really prides itself in it's hospitality, and it shows. From the moment of booking, the team was on hand via private messaging to arrange everything we needed for our visit. The interior has been beautifully refinished, with the rooms featuring well appointed bathrooms and large, comfortable beds. The breakfast was delicious, the hammam experience was great, and the massage was top quality. All in all, a 5 star experience at a very very fair price.

Staff are next level at this Riad. They were welcoming, nice, and truly a hospitality professionals. The property is nice, and well located near Medina. Highly recommended.

The riad is located in the northern part of the Medina with main sights accessible by foot. It’s a great, rather quiet escape in the busy city, with amazing staff & exceptional service. It’s beautiful, clean and – compared to other hotels we stayed at in marrakech – great value for money. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a central, quiet and still authentic place to stay in marrakech.

My stay at Free People Riad was the absolute highlight of my trip to Marrakech. It is a destination in its own right. First up, its such a peaceful escape. The streets of the Medina are famous for being loud and chaotic, which I loved exploring, but the moment you step inside Free People and close the door behind you, the noise just vanishes. It is a stunning, quiet escape from the city, and while the souks are a wonderful experience, I found myself really looking forward to heading back to the Riad just to decompress. With the property itself; the rooms are beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean, making it a really relaxing environment to return to. The breakfast is equally lovely, and I really appreciated the flexibility of where to enjoy it; depending on the weather, you can sit in the stunning ground-floor courtyard or head up to the rooftop terrace and sunroom for a beautiful start to the day. Pilar and her team deserve a special mention for being so warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful. They even included a great touch that I’ve never seen elsewhere; Pilar created a WhatsApp group with me, herself, and the concierge. It was a brilliant, practical way to keep in touch, schedule breakfast each morning or access their list of recommended attractions. It was so great to know that they were always just a message away if I needed anything. I will certainly be back to Marrakech, if only to stay at Free People again. Put this Riad on your list for Marrakech

Pilar and her staff were the best. They treated us with respect, kindness and great care. We felt so at home at the riad. Everything was excellent from the time we checked in earlier than the normal check in, to the roomy bed and gorgeous bathroom. The riad was walking distance to every items on our list, we walked to all of them. I will definitely stay here again if I make it back to Marrakech and definitely recommend Free People riad.

We had a short stay at FPR but it was so lovely. Pilar and her team were so friendly and accommodating on arrival. The attention to detail in this riad shows. We had stayed at a few others at this point in our trip to Marrakesh and FPR really stuck out to us. The location also very walkable and tons to see in the area!

The most outstanding hospitality and service I have seen in years. The owner Pilar has really infused this beautiful riad with joy. Well located, well appointed, great all around. I was there with my small child and he just loved every second.
