Sauberes großes Zimmer im kleinen Häuschen Visavis dem Gasthof. Schönes Badezimmer. Abendessen sehr gut. Fangfrische Forelle aus dem Dorf! Frühstück englisch, Kaffee unbrauchbar. Aber Nespresso Kapselmaschine im Zimmer. Die Lage! Sind in der Früh um 8 zur Arlington zum Fotografieren (nicht mal 5 Mi uten zu Fuß) und hatten die für uns alleine!

Well positioned a short way up a small hill. Nice tasty meals. However the outside of the shower tray needed a deep clean and our room only had a skylight window which resulted in it being very warm, even at night, in the high temperatures.

Great staff and location if going to cotswolds and want to be central to all the villages. Very clean and well maintained.

I loved the location. The room was very welcoming and so clean. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was cooked to perfection.

Lovely cosy room with en-suite, had everything you could need. Modern and clean. Our booking included breakfast which was a great extra. Full English was fab. Thanks very much.

Charming restaurant and pub with four spacious comfortable bedrooms. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Would stay again in the heart of Bibury.

The Catherine Wheel pub is set in the very picturesque village of Bibury, which we were visiting for the first time. It is within walking distance of all the village sites and amenities thus ideal for visitors. The pub is very quaint and has a lot of attractive features and of course plenty of parking, various outside options and decent food. The accommodation is across the courtyard from the pub, so is in a separate unit, which I presume was a barn in previous times. The room we were allocated appeared to have been recently refurbished with a fixed radiator and looked new as did the bathroom which was tiled throughout and had a heated towel rail. Both were quite small but adequate but neither had a ground level window of any kind, only a skylight in the bedroom. When shown to our room we were told there was a portable fan, which also blew hot air which later proved very necessary as the central heating didn't work. That was not an issue in the bedroom as we had the heater but using the bathroom was a nightmare as it was like an icebox being tiled floor to ceiling without any heating. We did bring it to the management's attention and apologised but were not forthcoming with any form of recompense or refund when we checked out. Not a bad place to stay but do make sure the central heating is working.

This property was wonderful! The bed was great, the bathroom was great, and most of all the staff were terrific people. The breakfast was absolutely fabulous every morning. I would definitely stay here again, The parking was easy also.

Everything was great about our staff. The room was lovely, the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was great.

The staff are excellent! I had a lovely stay in the Bibury room. Very clean /looked brand new! The food is pub food and very good! One of only two places to stay, here & “the Swan” down the road! The swan being the high end option. Just up the road from the trout farm and would highly recommend the Catherine wheel.

The breakfast was very good. We had scrambled egg on toast. I would prefer some veggies with it. Like tomatoes. Overall. Excellent.

Lovely clean room. Staff are the best! Beautiful pub filled with so many friendly people. Rooms are a little small with one ceiling window so can feel abit dark. But beautiful none the less. Could do with a bigger tv.

Really surprisingly excellent accommodation. Great value for money and superb breakfast all organised fantastically by young (compared to me) Harry. The iconic Bibury Trout Farm and picturesque riverside are just five minutes walk down the hill. Thanks to you all!!

Clean room and bathroom. Told the rooms had suffered flood damage (The Catherine Wheel is on a gently sloping hill!) and rooms have been fully reburbished. The 4 rooms are of varying sizes - room 3 is not that large - compact one might say but is v good order. Bed and bedding was good. Had supper on 2 evenings and was happy with meals chosen - actually they were very good and certainly much better than the evening meal I had in Burford. Breakfast was simple but good and the Full English would taking some eating three days in row - took the option of selecting ia few items from the Full English menu. Car parking can be difficult if Bibury is inundated with tourist and all comers used any spaces available in the car park of the Catherine Wheel - although I was told they were going to look at having. few designated parking spaces for overnight bookings.

What a great night at the Catherine wheel. We met Debbie when we checked in and she was so warm and friendly she made everything very easy for us. The room was clean, modern and very quaint. The food was outstanding in the restaurant with a good menu selection. There were 11 of us for dinner and you could tell everything was fresh and home made the pie was especially incredible. Thank you Catherine wheel we will be back again!!
