good location

first of all, the sink is quite hard to use, the tap is too close to the edge that water split everywhere. and there was no house keeping even we asked the lady to help and she said ok to come clean our room later. the worst thing is that, it was super noisy during night, we couldn’t sleep for whole night! there was a club or something nearby and the music does not stop till morning! we stayed up all night… the good thing is bed is soft and good to lay on. and hotel is very near southern cross station which is convenient to go to the airport

Great location, room was clean and amenities were good. Staff were friendly etc however it could be better. Our room wasn’t cleaned during our stay - I had to call to have rubbish collected and fresh towels brought up. I think buffet breakfast could be expanded and concierge staff more helpful - they were not really forthcoming with information - I had to ask lots of questions.

Everything was good except for the Audio Description on the TV that neither I, nor two staff members who tried valiantly to turn it off, could get it to stop working. Drove me near mad. Wouldn't generally be an issue except that I was looking forward to seeing a particular program.

Appalling Customer Service – Avoid Made a booking error late at night and contacted the hotel immediately to resolve it. Rather than showing any goodwill or basic common sense, staff flatly refused to even discuss the matter — no refund, no credit, no flexibility whatsoever. For a hotel that presumably prides itself on hospitality, this response was nothing short of disgraceful. A simple booking mishap — the kind any reasonable establishment would handle with professionalism and grace — was met with indifference and a complete lack of accountability. Sort your systems and your customer service out. This is not how guests should ever be treated

I loved everything one of my best stays in the city !

Nice amenities. Asked for 2 single beds sent a message via app also called the Quincy the day before to make sure we had 2 single beds. When we arrived the woman at the desk had a very sour face and was not happy. I needed to show her my ID 3 times. After getting into our room after 3pm as our room was not ready we walked into a room with a double bed. I asked what had happened with the bedding then they made me pay for an upgrade to a bigger room to have the 2 single beds where the website stated we could have the beds in the room we had booked. The Restaurant was beautiful the rooftop bar was ok our food was cold when delivered to our table, drinks could have been in a bigger glass for the price you had to pay for them.

The location is excellent with incredibly easy access to transport. I was on a higher floor, which meant I got a beautiful view of the city and a perfectly quiet, peaceful room. I would absolutely stay here again!

Great hotel for our one night city stay. Walkable distance from Southern Cross Station. Staff were very welcoming, room was small but clean with a comfy bed and lovely ensuite. Very quiet and the area felt safe making it a great place to stay.

Great location, definitely comfortable beds. However this hotel is a little lacking, requested slippers on their app as advised to, nothing arrived. Pool area is very tiny however lovely temperature. Air con made loud rattling sound on and off the whole time being used.

It was a convenient location to the convention centre the room was clean all things in your room toiletries iron hairdryer fridge coffee machine. Very good price for city stay

Great location close to Crown, restaurants and Convention centre. Roof top bar just close to early to my liking.

Excellent location for one night, fabulous restaurant inside the building “salted egg” and rooftop bar was also great. I like that we were not in Melbourne for long and were able to have a convenient stay here where we didn’t have to leave the building after dark after a long day exploring. Can’t speak highly enough of the restaurant, absolutely fantastic food and service. The only thing that bothered us was the temperature control in the room not being individualised and seemed centrally controlled. Our room was small and was quite stuffy/hot even though we had the air system on and turned down low.

The staff were friendly. The room was clean however the toilet seat was broken. The bathroom door wouldn’t close. There was only 1 cup and no iron. The ironing board did not have a cover on it.

We booked this hotel because of its location. Indeed we enjoyed its closeness to restaurants, parks and public transportation etc. Another reason was its swimming pool. My wife liked the small lap pool on the 28th floor. It was not large but it was not crowded also. The view was nice and the water was warm. Some disadvantages are: the front desk was not open 24 hours. We arrived after 10pm and the desk was closed. Luckily I anticipated this happening so I emailed them ahead and someone was available to check us in. Some items were missing from our room but we got them next day after informing the front desk. The restaurant Salted Egg was closed on Tuesday for lunch and dinner. Since there are plenty of restaurants nearby this was not a major problem unless the weather was bad. The buffet breakfast had rather limited choices. The staff at the front desk were not too helpful in orienting us to get to some of our destinations. This is not a problem if you are used to Google Map and Google Search. Over all, we will consider staying here again when we visit Melbourne next time.

I was travelling for business, and the reason I booked this hotel was its location, which is close to the Melbourne Convention Centre — literally a 7-minute walk. The hotel was generally okay, and the breakfast was sufficient, but there could have been more selection in the buffet, as it seemed that the food options did not change during the five nights of my stay. The staff require some training to be more friendly & welcoming to the guests. I hardly remember anyone ever saying good morning to me in the breakfast restaurant. I had forgotten about the free bottle of wine, which was mentioned as a complimentary offer, but it was not in my room. During my stay, nobody from the hotel remembered this or brought it to me. It is a simple thing, but great things are normally achieved through small positive details.
